This was all about the location. Just a few blocks from the lower city, the location was perfect. I had a small room on the 2nd floor. It was a single room, with a shared bathroom with the other guests on the floor. Breakfast choices in the morning were good. The people who worked there were friendly and helpful with...

Manoir Charest is conveniently located for a driver on a busy thoroughfare, close to public transport. It's not close to old Quebec city, although you can walk or take a bus. When the owner gets the right offer, the building is coming down for a seven-story office building. As a result, no special attention is paid to this creaky old...

We found this hotel here from TripAdvisor and contacted them directly for pricing and availability. We found a better price on Booking.com and went to check out the hotel in person before booking. We told the front desk gentleman that we found a better price of $99/nt online and he offered to match it, but parking was extra. The room...

We entered the room and it smelled strongly of CHEESE! They can't be selling rooms for $100+ that reek of cheese. My boyfriend blocked the door with a chair because the reception guy was so creepy and our room was facing the front desk. Never again.

The hotel was a nice basic one and the price was unbeatable for a single room. the owners were superfriendly and helpful and had some nice advices where to go. My room was very clean, towels/soap included and a good basic breakfast, for that price I definitely got the best deal :) The location is on a quite busy road...

Clean room and bathroom, friendly and helpful staff. We had a room with a queen-sized bed and a shared bathroom, and the hotel was quiet that day so we had the last floor (and the shared bathroom) to ourselves. The room had a sink. We were also given a place to leave our bags for a few hours after the...

Excellent location to start a trip in Quebec City. Nice rooms and comfortable beds. They offer a decent breakfast. The owerns are very friendly and take care that you have a pleasant stay. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

On a busy intersection, you can enjoy the song of the semaphore all day (and night) long. Not all of the windows close correctly. Not a single towel nor soaps when we arrived. Not so rich breakfast, and closing pretty early (9.00!).

Stayed here over a rainy weekend in late May. The location was pretty good - about 20 minute walk from Vieux-Quebec. Close to upper and lower town. From the outside the building looks a bit dilapidated but inside is nice. Felt safe, and the room was very clean. However had a bit of a strange smell (musty perhaps), but got...
