Very comfortable room with well planned space, adequate equipment and comfy bed, also free bottled water which seldom offered by other hotels in Canada. Location is closed to old town, just few minutes walk. They don't have private parking space to offer but the underground one at the convention centre next door is convenient. Breakfast is very simple but enough...

Wow, I'm very unimpressed with this hotel. It was a snowstorm today in Ontario and unsafe to travel long distances. I had a reservation at the Hotel Le Dauphin downtown Montreal, I called to rebook for the next day. They told me to change my reservations I would have to pay the full price of them room plus pay for...

Our second night in Canada and our first in Montreal. Getting to the hotel was a challenge. I've never seen a city so torn up with construction. The roads were a mess, and diffficult to manage. Parking at this hotel was crazy. You can park in front for 15 minutes while you unload your luggage, then you have go to...

Ever stumbled into a hotel bathroom in the dark, trying not to disturb your sleeping companion? This hotel has a permanent nightlight in the bathroom! Beautiful Italian made leather chairs in the rooms give a European vibe. Free water bottles and a Keurig machine are nice to have. Safety is paramount as you have to have a valid hotel key...

I certainly didn't pick up the "modern" vibe that others mention, but looking at photos on here in retrospect, our room didn't look very similar. We were on the top floor, the 9th, I believe, and our room was on a corner. Two of the walls were just solid concrete. You can try to call this "industrial chic", but it...

We went there for a 2 night stay. First of all I'd like to say that the hotel is very well located. The room are nice and modern. We also like the fact that there is no carpet in the room. The room was at one of the top floor and offer a nice view on the city. The continental...

Stayed here for one night for a inner-city getaway. Lovely rooms. Boutique feel and upscale. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom! The room was spacious and it had a great view. It doesn't have a lot of amenities- no bar or restaurant but there are plenty of options in that area.

The room was VERY nicely done with a comfortable bed, good view and a bathroom that I covet. The entire place has a cool, sleek, modern industrial feel. The hotel does not have an in-house restaurant or bar, but there are so many good places within easy (~5min) walking distance, that this is not, in the bigger scheme of things,...

Staying in Quartier International

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
