On our third trip to Montreal we decided to stay somewhere more local versus a chain hotel. We made the right decision. Le Relais Lyonnais is a small inn located in the heart of the club/restaurant area of Rue St. Denis. The location is very...More

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us.Thank you for the great review.
If you want the charm of Paris in Canada this boutique hotel reminded me of my time in Paris, From the warm reception at the front desk to the basket every morning at our door with fresh croissants. Our room was recently renovated, well designed...More
We chose this place for its size (small) and location (Latin Quarter) and were pleased with both. The location is close to really good restaurants that were recommended by the very helpful receptionists. There was a street fair or carnival going on the whole time...More
Really nice hotel in a great location: right in the heart of it all. Directly across form a theater with great entertainment--plenty of places for dining and entertainment---15 minute walk to old downtown. Superb management.
The hotel is in the midst of the vibrant St. Denis district yet the rooms are quiet and relaxing. Loved the rain shower and the very comfortable bed. Continental breakfast outside the door each morning was varied, fresh and sufficient. Lots of bars and restaurants...More

Thank you for your positive feedback.
We look forward to your next visit in Montreal.
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and
exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
