This hotel is very cozy, good and friendly staff. Very reasonably price $70. Close to all the restaurants we were able to walk to dinner last night which was awesome. Definitely check it out. It's worth it.
There are not enough adjectives to describe how good our shortened stay was. Here goes. Wonderful reception staff who could not do enough for me when our travel plans had to change. Organized a refund for the night we could not stay eventhough booking was...More
Decided to take the kids on a small family trip. This hotel was one of our only options as we are a family of 7. We were given a two bedroom suite, which was very spacious. Lovely kitchenette was fantastic for all the food and...More
Stayed here for just one night and was very comfortable. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, the room was equipped well for business work and the staff was very friendly. I was very surprised when I came down for breakfast. The room was...More
Nicely located with convenient parking I had decent hopes given this is a Marriott chain hotel. But wow, the hotel room we stayed in (903) was dated despite some reviews stating it went through renovations the last decade. Maybe they were referring to the lobby...More

Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.

I confirm Rickardo says including the amazing breakfast. Not having the second elevator did cause a bit of a bottleneck at busy times but other than that I was unaware of the construction. Based on the pool comment that must have happened since I was there in November.
