Yes you need muscles to carry your luggages up to the lobby (near two floors) and then up to the third floor without any lift or help. You enter then a small room with a sanitary in a closet, all like a doll house! No restaurant in the hotel and the one close to the hotel full booked. During the...

The location is amazing. close to the subway, Quartier latin and downtown. friendly staff and free internet. The hotel looks decent from outside and the common areas are reasonably maintained. Our room however was exceptionally small, the bed took most of the space with barely room to stand between said bed and the door. Furniture-wise, there was a doorless armoir...

We Stayed in the King Suite and it was amazing! We never heard any noise from outside our room which is the most important thing for me! The front desk was very kind and helped us with our room! Matt was his name and he was fantastic! The location is great because it is 2 blocks away from metro 2...

I hate to write a poor review for any business (mostly because we're talking about potentially affecting people's jobs and income), but I feel compelled to let potential visitors to Hotel de Paris know about my experience. My partner and I stayed on the first floor of the "renovated building" across the street from the main building where the lobby...

Although the room was small and the ceiling a bit low, it was perfectly clean and tidy. The location is quite good and you may park across the street until 3pm, free of charge. The staff was quite polite and helpful.

Not what I expected, but you get what you pay for. The rooms were small.. and I got a queen standard size room.. and it was so tiny. The washroom was tiny also. Stayed there for 2 nights and it was hot ... the rooms wall were thin you could hear everything from above and everything in the hallway. Not...

We took a spur of the moment trip to Montreal and found this little hotel online. Read all the reviews and thought it was the best fit for our needs. This hotel was perfect for us. It had charm, character and was quite clean. If you are looking for a clean and cute place to stay this is the place....

Cute boutique hotel, nice sized rooms we had a kitchenette though balcony was snowed in so we were unable to use it (too cold outside anyway!) a fair walk from the central city area but there is a subway station reasonably close. Nice parks with lakes located close by on which you can ice skate in the winter! (For free!!)

Recent stay was within the Annex part of the hotel where larger executive suites are located. Large rooms with windows with a good sized flat screen mounted to the wall. A few drawbacks that can easily be fixed: intercom system inoperable to open front door, if you're on the third floor, it can be a pain for elderly or those...

Hotel was perfect for our family - this was a one night stop gap as we had just landed and was travelling onto Quebec. Had a small microwave and kettle which was handy. This is a no no nonsense hotel clean with no frills I would recommend for short stay

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
