The best service ever! Very quiet elegance. The rooms were well furnished, quiet and comfortable. The on site restaurant had a good selection of light fare, full dinner and breakfast. We felt like we were the most important people there. The location is perfection. I would recommend Le Saint Sulpice to all my friends and family!

The hotel is fine and elegantly appointed. You pay for the location in Old Montreal. Was t worth price we paid. Not necessarily. It was more of an apartment hotel than I would have been led to believe from the reviews. It was fine, but for the price we paid for a suite it was just okay.

Amazing service especially by Greg in the restaurant. He's fun to joke around with and helpful with great Montreal suggestions. It matches the same services provided throughout the hotel. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Really good hotel and a great location. I had a suite which was over the top for one but so useful being fully equipped. Well located to get around on foot or public transport. Not cheap but you get what you pay for here

I have never actually written a review before, however felt inclined to after this hotel stay. Saint Sulpice was just perfect! The room was like a small apartment, as it was very spacious and well appointed with a full kitchen including a cooktop and fireplace. Everything was super clean and complementary espresso was offered every morning and bottled water every...

This hotel was wonderful. It is located in Old Town Montreal, right next to the Notre Dame and it is surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and places to visit. The hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel room was comfortable and I slept well every night. Highly recommend.

The Saint-Sulpice was chosen for us as part of a tour, but we couldn't have picked a better place. The location immediately behind Notre-Dame Basilica and near the port is excellent. There is a metro stop right around the corner, but much is within walking distance. Check in was efficient and the staff very friendly. Our suite was very comfortable...

Next to the old cathedral in the old part of Montreal, this Hotel pretty much ticks every box. Great service, great location, beautiful suites. Lovely toiletries, spacious shower and a bed that allowed perfect sleeps. We could have lived here as it was a calm oasis in a tourist area. I notice that some customers had my building works next...

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
