Good customer service; nice location with a lot of restaurants nearby; the room has modern design. It is located at the center of the old town with only 15-20 minutes walk to main sites like notre dame, and old port.

This hotel is right at the mouth of Old Montreal, very close to transit and the VIA rail main station. It's a perfect location. The hotel is a tiny bit dated, but the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. There is a small gym, a restaurant (that is quite vibey at night) and the...

Location was great - close to the water and historic area. The hotel itself is a beautiful property, with really nice rooms, great breakfast, workout room and hotel bar. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and recommended a great lunch spot around the corner. Highly recommend!

We stayed for one night. The room was beautiful! Door staff and cleaning staff where bright and cheerful and more than willing to help. The hotel even stored our luggage for a few hours after checking out for us since we had a few more stops before leaving town.

A nice boutique hotel which is located close to the old down. A refreshing depart from the usual business hotels. In my case the service did what I would have expected - probably not top notch but does the job.

we were there to attend mass at the Basilica Notre Dame, so the location was ideal. Yes, before booking, we did notice that travellers talked a lot about the dark hallways... Yes, they were dark, and the elevators as well. Room not bad, first time stay in Old Montreal, so will try other places next time.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.

Bold juxtapositions of color and texture heighten the senses and transport guests on a visual journey throughout their stay.
