Needed two night stay with wife while visiting Montreal. Wanted to be within walking distance of Old Town, and Centre-Ville. This place was very good. Unlike some of the other reviews, I found the staff to be extremely polite and helpful. Our room was not...More
This hotel was in a great location for a trip to Osheaga. Two of us shared the room and it totally served our purposes (sleep and getting ready to leave).
The decor is dated and dark and the room was clean-ish. Seemed a bit dingy...More
I booked a room on booking.com for $164 last minute. At the hotel I added $11 parking, both in U.S. dollars, for one night. But I was charged twice. The hotel charged per person, for two people, instead of for the room. This is stealing from...More

The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and
exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
