My friend and I attended an event at the Palais de Congress and booked here when our original hotel fell through. We had a good experience overall! We were so close to the event space which was very convenient. The rooms are cute and spacious, and the couple cooks very well, so breakfast was delicious. They don't seem to speak... More

This quaint B&B is a perfect location for those who choose to walk to Old Montreal or to the newer areas of Montreal. Our hosts were friendly and provided a code to the front door so that we could come and go. There are 3 stories so be prepared to carry your suitcase up stairs. This is not wheelchair friendly.... The location of this B&B was great; close to downtown, close to Old Montreal and right next door to Chinatown with many restaurant options. After reading reviews I had high expectations and was looking forward to a small hotel that offered breakfast each morning. Upon our arrival we had a difficult time finding anywhere to park. There were two lots... More

It was a quick trip to Montreal, so location was perfect for us! We didn't have to waste time sitting in traffic. Walking distance from Notre Dame, pier, old Montreal. The owner we fell in love with! Such a cute couple! They were very helpful, even when we locked ourselves out of our room. Will definitely come stay here again.

1 block from the 747 bus stop, so super easy to get to/from the airport. Right beside Chinatown (great food there), and an easy walk to Old Town, downtown, Quarter de Spectacles and Latin Quarter. And a short walk from two metro stations. We stayed for 5 days. As others mentioned, the breakfasts are good and different from the normal... More

Great little place to stay in downtown Montreal. Eric and Daisy were excellent hosts. Very personable. Very nice breakfasts. The rooms were clean and unique wit a community bathroom upstairs. We were 10 minutes walking distance from the Jazz festival. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting a nice B&B stay at a reasonable price with lovely people in downtown Montreal.

The B&B is located downtown so it was very easy to get around and the hosts. Daisy and Eric were friendly and accommodating right from the beginning. The place was always clean and tidy and the breakfast was always pleasant. I would definitely come back again. - Ben

Daisy and Eric are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was simple but pretty. Room, despite small, was clean and nicely decorated. The central location/walking distance to many tourist spots is the best part for this affordable price.

An ultimate place to be in Montréal. I was there for only a few days, but really enjoyed that place. The owners, Eric and Daisy, welcomed me very kindly. They are quite strict about their vision of a Bed and Breakfast, but as soon as it was something I was looking for, that was a very good address. If you... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Bakeries, markets, restaurants, and buffets crowd the brightly graffitied streets of Chinatown, the city's aromatic destination for pan-Asian cuisine. Distinguished at its entry points by towering vermillion paifang gates, the compact neighbourhood acts as a focal point for the Chinese community, hectic with educational facilities, cultural centres, acupuncturists, and foreign-language newspapers. Especially vibrant in the warmer months, when the sweet smell of dragon beard candy along the pedestrian walks of Rue de la Gauchetière signal the beginning of the outdoor street fair season, Chinatown is a treasure hunter's dream, with enough knickknack and curiosity shops to tempt even the pickiest shoppers. The convivial vibe picks up after dark, when the area's active nightlife offers evening crowds their choice of drink, dance, and midnight snacks of pho or oysters. Chinatown's mix of new and old, with herbal remedies being sold alongside pop-culture DVDs, gives the area its own animated brand of moxie.
