Rooms are clean and comfortable. Great location for shopping, old montreal and of course dining. Great atmosphere and friendly service by all. We love the fresh water that is served at the front desk. You have a choice of lime or lemon. Love it here.

we really enjoyed our stay ... super-comfortable beds, everything spotless, very friendly and helpful staff especially on the Gold floor -- totally worth the extra cost for the the additional services IE the tea concierge (no joke--really knowledgeable guy!)

Bathtub and sink were old-cracked and stained; Fairmont didn't honour the room upgrade as advertised; room service inconsistent but staff very pleasant. Location is good; rooms are small and there is no comfortable seating in the room - only a desk chair;

It is a top flight hotel with excellent facilities and an excellent location, but despite its big size, staff created a genuinely friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food in the restaurants was also excellent.

Stayed there for business early September. The location was unbelievable, just great. Close to everything. If you take the elevator to the lowest floors (underground) you will find central station with all kinds of shops and food marts (coffee, bakery, pubs, pharmacy, flower shop, beer&spirits store, etc.) All of this underground - so if it's cold out you stay inside....

Excellent hotel. Excellent price. Very conveniently located. Very quiet both nights. Beds very comfortable. Amazing cleaning lady, friendly and gave us extra coffee :) Several elevators so no wait to get to room.

I was surprised at how small the rooms were...smallest hotel room i have ever stayed in. I would have expected better for $180. On the morning we were checking out, our shower or bath did not work which was pretty upsetting considering we were in a rush to get to a baptism. We let them know as we were checking...

Another disappointing Fairmont hotel that I regarded as basic and very average. A king bed in a spacious room with an average sized bathroom (although bigger than other Fairmonts we had stayed in whilst in Canada). A large wardrobe and a censored fridge with a warning (unlike other Fairmont censored fridges). Ho hum - nothing to write home for.
