Lovely service, clean and all the amenities you'll ever need in the city centre, I highly recommend this spot for a Montreal visit. The pool is as good as it looks. It's walking distance to al the best stops and we will make this a regular booking in the future.

I stayed in the hotel during an academic competition. Loved its facilities (outside warm pool, conference rooms, gym, bar etc.) and the service of its employees. The only problem was that my delegation ordered a room for 3, which was definitely too small with small beds. On the other hand, after I moved to a room on my own- my...

Stayed here on a weekend to go watch the Habs play. Excellent location! Being 20 below Celsius, we were thrilled to discover the Hotel was connected via underground directly to the front door of the Bell Center! Great hotel experience. Staff was great and very helpful. Classic hotel from the late 60's. Stayed there in 76 at the Olympics....Would definitely...

There have been quite a few reviews complaining of poor staffing due to the strike or the hotel seeming run down and shabby. Not at all what we found. The strike is over and everyone, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff seemed to bend over backwards to help us and make us comfortable. The room was top notch....

This was a good hotel. I liked the pool and the garden area. Very picturesque. It was in the busy city area so it's situated in a great location. Rooms were decent sized, views could be better from hotel windows but it gets the job done. Didn't give 5 stars because they didn't have much food selection. Other than that,...

This hotel has a great location, and the service was excellent. It has a cozy bar, average restaurant (poutine and salmon and shrimp salad were great though), and it has a heated outdoor pool that is pretty cool.

We stayed at the Hotel Boneventure two nights, and it was a fabulous stay. The concierge Florence Désourdy was incredibly helpful and kind. She helped us plan everything from where to eat, to what part of the city to explore, to the quickest travel routes, all with good cheer. Another highlight was being served a delicious and filling breakfast each...

We stayed here two nights. The room was modern and comfortable. It was a good size and had a nice bathroom. The pool was fantastic and unique. We did not stay in long in the pool becuase it was sti cold even with the heated water. The room service was prompt, good and expensive. The employees were all helpful and...

This old hotel built in the 60' has now a fresh new modern look... Hilton Bonaventure has something very special to offer : a nice view of downtown and a heated outdoor pool that can be accessed from inside. This is a Montreal landmark ! Summer or Winter it is a very cool place ! Very romantic !

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
