We chose this small hotel because of its location and reasonable price and were not disappointed. True, it did not have an elevator and it was strangely configured (we had to step outside on the second floor to reach our room), but the breakfast was plentiful and tasty with hot and cold choices; the room was quiet, comfortable and large...

Dear Guest Thank you for your comment. It is very pleasant to read ! Some rooms are, in fact, accessible through our exterior corridors (as described on our web site) There is only one 24/7 staffed entrance to the hotel. We thank you again. We look forward to welcome you back. Best regards Marc-André Ladouceur Manager and co-owner

We stayed one night in August 2014 and as with most hotel experiences there are pros and cons. On the pro side we thought the staff were very nice, the breakfast was quite substantial and tasty, the room was very clean, the hotel was quiet and felt comfy, and the Wifi and all other services worked flawlessly. On the con...

Dear Guest Thank you for your comment. We are glad you liked your stay with us in general appreciating the staff – breakfast – cleanliness – quietness and services. This hotel is built in an old house (dating from 1900) renovated in a 25 rooms hotel. We are not a modern-style looking hotel; we offer a rural look with modern...

I stayed at the Auberge le Jardin d'Antoine in June 2014. I stayed in one of the garden rooms at street level facing the back of the hotel. The staff were very courteous and helpful. My first night there they gave me a card where I get a square meal under $40 which includes appetizer, main course, desert, cocktail and...

Dear Guest Thank you for your nice comment. We are glad you liked your stay with us. I precise that the card we gave you is a deal negotiated for our guests at the restaurant called Le Pelerin Magellan. We negotiated various discounts at other restaurants for our guest as well. I am surprised at your comment on TV channels...

It was our first time in Montreal and after being pampered in a charming Old Quebec B&B, we were a little concerned after arriving to the B&B: litter in the street, young beggars in the corner and a gentleman club across the street. But after a while we became used to Latin Quarters neighborhood with it's restaurants and entertainments and...

Dear Guest Thank you for your comment. I am glad you enjoyed location (after a while, you are right Montreal is not old Quebec but we do have plenty to offer !) and breakfast at our hotel. Our junior suite with the jacuzzi bath in the bedroom (room 32 the only one with the jacuzzi in the bedroom) fits effectively...

We arrived in the evening to the lively sounds of the Oumf festival. Our taxi couldn't deliver us to the door because of the street closure, but fortunately it was a downhill walk with our luggage! The hotel staff were very welcoming, and it was a cosy atmosphere from the start - information leaflets and general office clutter abounded in...

Right in the Latin quarter this auberge is nicely situated in the Old Town. A few minutes walk from the bus station which helped us. Staff is very helpful and friendly and local restaurants give you plenty to choose from. We had a back room which was very quiet which I think was fortuitous as there is a busy road...

Stayed 3 nights at le jardin. We chose it for its position and after reading the reviews. Position was perfect- lively area, lots going on including the OUMF festival (fantastic); near the underground; easy walk to the old town. Was pleasantly surprised at how peaceful it was in the rooms considering the busy streets. Bathroom could probably benefit from an...

Dear Guest Thank you for this nice comment. I am glad you enjoyed your stay in general : location, peacefulness, lovely staff. We think we offer a decent (but not amazing you are right !) menu for an included breakfast (you can check the detailed breakfast menu on our official website). We offer filtered coffee in rooms and at breakfast....

I recently spent two nights at the Auberge le Jardin d'Antoine. I was staying in one of their queen suites, which was actually much more luxurious than I expected, complete with a whirlpool bath. The hotel itself was very clean, with a good WIFI connection and a nice choice for breakfast. While I was in Montreal I had my iPhone...

Our family of four stayed at Auberge le Jardin d'Antoine for three nights and were very pleased. The location couldn't be better -- very close to the Metro in a happening neighborhood. The suite was not fancy, but clean and quiet, and the kids loved the Jacuzzi bath. The highlight was the breakfast: warm croissants, scrambled eggs, bagels and muffins,...

Dear Guest Thank you for this nice comment. You are totally right we are not a modern-style boutique hotel! You described the atmosphere perfectly as most of our guest feel like they are at home in our small 25-rooms Inn classified 3 stars. Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
