Very good location and quality. We got to see Jazz Fest right outside our door and walk to many of the star attractions in Montreal. I would recommend this for people who want a nice (but not great) hotel within walking distance to many hot spots.

Room, front desk staff and concierge were great but restaurant staff, Regency Club and Bell Staff were non-existent. We enjoyed the quiet room with comfy bed but when we got out of the room, hotel services were hit and miss. We ended up eating at Eggspecations outside the hotel even though we had purchased the "Regency Club" upgrade. Regency Club...

The Hyatt Montreal is located in the ideal location for the annual jazz festival in late June to early July. I recommend a high floor on the non-festival side if you are sensitive to noise. Take advantage of the Regency Club floor for a daily breakfast, beverages, and appetizers and desserts every night. The rooms are not plush, and our...

Rooms a bit shoddy and old to be honest. Very clean and the bed was 'very' comfortable. I just had that worn, old corporate 80's feel to it. I asked the bar for a can on soda, no glass, just the can unopened to take to my room....$5 CAD.!! Ideal location...right smack bang in the middle of it all, wi-fi:...

I just returned from four days at this hotel during the Montreal Jazz Festival. The Hyatt is located almost WITHIN this great festival. Next to great restaurants, connected to a mall, and near all Jazz Festival events. Beautiful rooms, great service, I could not ask for more. These photos were taken from the balcony of the hotel.

The Hyatt Regency is centrally located downtown, on the corner of St. Catherine and Jeanne Mance streets, near the Place des Arts complex/esplanade, which includes the Museum of Contemporary Arts and festival venues. We were there during the Montreal International Jazz Festival, in a "room with a view" overlooking the jazz scene. We were able to listen to great music...

It was an endless series of issues from the moment we arrived. Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
