This hotel is filled with warm friendly staff who do their utmost to make sure you feel special. After no time at all we were personally greeted and they were quick to help with any question. The room was beautiful and met our needs nicely. If I had any concern, it wasn't with the hotel at all but with the...

Loved this hotel! The location is wonderful for a center of the city stay - next to McGill, just off Rue St Catherine's, and with the now revitalized Crescent Street with its restaurants just 5 min walk away. The rooms are lovely. Money has been spent on them rather than lofty public spaces which is how it should be. Comfortable...

We thought this gorgeous hotel reminded us of the Kimpton hotels we love so much in the US, but Kimpton is not in Canada, so we were hoping this would be similar. It really was, and we're glad we made the choice. We paid extra for the corner room with the corner windows, and it was totally worth it. What...

First time in Montreal that I could remember- I was around 11 when I visited with my school. Let me say I had a wonderful time visiting this city which is much quieter than Toronto. My boyfriend and I stayed at this lovely boutique hotel and got the king suite which had a nice large bathtub in the room. Very...

I strongly recommend this hotel. As leisure travelers, we rate urban hotels on the basis of the following key factors: quiet, quality of the bed, quality of the shower, cleanliness, tv, fitness center, friendliness, in-out valet parking, wifi, value, and location. This hotel is great in all these respects. The location is particularly notable, because it is not just good...

I stayed here with my wife 2 weeks ago, we had a Grand Lux room. The room was well appointed, the bed comfortable and the shower configuration...pretty cool. Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
