Greeted with personal questions. Bed sheets were not clean with hair on it. Bathroom floors were blotchy and sticky with stains. Bedroom carpet was sticky. Both rooms booked were like this. The host then served leftovers for breakfast! Completely disgusting and unacceptable.

Small rooms even for a boutique hotel. No TV, slow internet. One plus its in Vieux Montreal and close to good restaurants Friendly staff and comfortable bed. Not much else to say except it was very old and quaint. I guess if you're a fan of this type of hotel it's fine. breakfast as it is included

The minute I got off the expressway into Montreal I was pulled over for a ticket on a not allowed left hand turn. I told the policeman I was lost, no matter ticket given and when I asked directions he started speaking FRENCH. I call Michael at La Conciergerie and he stayed ON THE PHONE with me until I was...

La Conciergerie is a lovely (and not overly cute) mid sized guest house (approximately 9 rooms) within walking distance (15 minutes) of old Montreal and Rue San Denis, a lively street with many good places to eat. It's well run, clean, has comfortable beds, and offers a nice breakfast. A 10 minute walk will get you to a metro stop....

a lovely place with a quiet garden behind it. Every floor has a patio where you can sit and just enjoy the quiet. My room was huge with 2 queen beds, and a nice atmosphere of gentility and old-world charm. The beds were comfortable and while we didn't need a fan because the nights were cold, it was welcome during...

This inn was a great find. After several years staying at large chain hotels when we had younger kids, it was nice to graduate to this adult-oriented inn. First, the location is close to the Berri-UQAM metro stop and the bus station. The breakfast was nice, the rooms were quiet, the price reasonable and there's a small fitness area in...

What a delightful place. We had a ground floor room with private bath - perfect. Breakfast was excellent set in a country French room with view of the garden. Luc was a charming host who helped us with the parking and also with directions around town. Convenient location - within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Thank you Luc for...

Found this gem online and couldn't be more pleased! The location is perfect for walking to the Old Port, Vieux Montreal, the Latin quarter and to catch taxis or the tour buses. The guesthouse has been lovingly restored and furnished with all the details one would require..there is a lovely back garden also. Breakfast was delicious with yogurt, croissants, fresh...

My first visit ever to Montreal was a great introduction to the city. With no real plans, we spent our time exploring. We stayed at La Conciergie B&B which is a lovingly restored home just a few blocks from the waterfront and Old Montreal. This is a very walkable city with many sights to see along the way as well...

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
