I picked this hotel as I had stayed here before and enjoyed it. It is close to everything downtown and to Bell Center. There were 3 of us on this trip so wanted a room where we could all get our own bed. This nice hotel rooms, with 2 queen beds and pull out couch worked great. Very nice staff...

We enjoyed our time there, and the staff was very helpful. Although it was downtown, it was walking distance to a lot of activities and night-life variations. It was a five-minutes walk to the Bell Centre, home of the Canadians.

Recently visited Montreal to attend an NHL Game (Go Habs Go) and stayed at the Comfort Suites Downtown. After a 12 hour non stop car drive, we arrived early and were allowed to check in early. As we were early we did not receive the room we had originally requested; a quick call to the front desk and our situation...

The hotel is located to close to loads of restaurants, bars, pubs, shopping, the Metro & the Bell Centre. We were on the top floor (14th) & the room was very comfortable with quality bedding & lots of towels. The shower was excellent, lots of hot water & good pressure. The room has a 32" flat screen TV, love seat...

Good property; no frills but all the necessary amenities. Rooms and hallways are reasonably well kept. OK breakfast. Very friendly staff; and the location can't be beat for downtown. Overall good value for money.

The price was excellent for such a nice room. Hotel looks old but nice rooms. We were there for a visit and we went to the casino which is about 20 minutes away but was easy. The people working there are so nice and and helpful. will go back definitely

Rooms were clean and the location was great. Staff were friendly and check in and out was a breeze. The room was a great size and was more then sufficient. All around this was good value for the location at the price point.

Very friendly staff and great location. Just a few minutes away from the Centre bell. The beds were comfortable. In need of a reno which the building seems to be in the middle of. The building is surrounded by many shops and restaurants and has a spectacular view of the city.

The hotel was close to the Bell Centre, which was the purpose of my stay. The hotel itself was outdated, the floors were stained, we found stains on our sheets, we didn't have the toilet paper replenished when the room was cleaned, the balcony had garbage on it, etc. It was an okay place to stay that was affordable and...

The location was fine. The staff were friendly. The parking is close. There was a bit of noise from an adjacent room one evening, but it shut down at a reasonable time. All in all, I would stay at this location again.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
