It is really difficult to write a review for such a place and such a host after so many perfect ones. But we will try to condense the info and write a small resume. The studio is really beautiful, impeccably clean and very ergonomic. The bed scores perfect and so does pretty much everything else in the studio. Michel has...

I am always careful picking hotels cause the hubby can be picky. When he stepped into our studio, he was like "Wow. The next thing he said was "we need to come back", even before we started this trip. You can pay as much as you want to top tier hotels, but there is one thing you cant get from...

I was staying there from December 22 to 28. 6-nights Amazing host, great location and quiet, lots of amenities included, just like a boutique hotel with more space and I even had insuite laundry. Thanks a lot, going back there for sure. This was my 3rd time, there is a great private garden during warmer months.

He took time out of his day to ensure that we were informed of all the places to see and visit. He had given us maps for...

Staying in The Village (Gay Village)

Neighbourhood Profile
The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomised by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
