Six people we stayed in a two queen bedroom with living room pull out. First of you was awful a brick wall with huge windows to the building across the alley way. But we weren't there for the hotel room we were there to see Montreal so not a big deal. However, 3 o'clock in the morning there was some...

Dear Gingergirl69, thank you kindly for providing such a thorough feedback further to your visit. If we have the luxury of offering larger rooms for parties of 6, all of them are located at the back of the hotel due to the configuration of the building. I am glad the view was not your main reason to visit Montreal this...

90% of the time when we come to Montreal - we stay at The Westin in Old Montreal. We love walking around Old MOntreal and the restaurants are some of the best. The Westin is perfect for our family. The rooms are good size and if you are missing anything or want wine glasses, plates etc - they are always...

I had a wonderful 5 night stay here and would do it all over again. The location couldn't have been better - within walking distance to many great attractions. Old town is just steps away, as are great restaurants and shopping. I found the staff very helpful, bilingual and accommodating. The restaurant service was great and staff adapted their menu...

As always I love the Westin hotel chain for the most part you know what you're getting.. A good size room with a super comfy bed and great customer service.. Le Westin Montreal went beyond the great customer service barrier. I suffer from anxiety and we had booked this trip with friends months in advance I was hesitant to go...

This is a convention Hotel, it's big, it's basic...no warm fuzzies here. The good news is the location, it is on the border of Old Montreal and just across the street from the Metro. Our first night was spent in a very dreary room, lighting was awful, A/C only worked to chill the hallway not the sleeping area so we...

Dear Gogogal55, thank you very much for sharing your feedback further to your recent visit. I am sorry to read the first room you were in was not up to your entire satisfaction, and I appreciate your comments about the lighting. Le Westin is indeed Old Montreal’s largest hotel, which has its pros (24/7 gym, inside swimming pool) and probably...

We are very happy we picked Le Westin for a 3 night visit to Montreal. The location is perfect- it's across the convention center and post office, Starbucks and Cafe Java U are a few steps away and underground train is accessible from the hotel. It is a quick walk from Notre Dame and the beautiful Old Montreal as well...

A great location, a friendly and helpful staff and that all the good that I can say about this hotel. The carpeting in the hall was stained and dirty which greatly concerned me about the cleanliness of the hotel. I never walked bare footed in our room and my socks got very dirty. The room itself was adequate but unimpressive...

We loved the location, it was perfect for walking to the old Montreal and to restaurants. The rooms are large and the bathrooms were clean. The bar and restaurant was fast and good, for as busy as they were they did a good job keeping up with orders. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a nice four-night stay during our July vacation in Montreal. The staff were pleasant, and the concierge was extremely helpful. Valets were chatty and friendly, as were room service attendants. Our room was nice with typical Westin furnishings and comfortable beds. The location was great – very close to the Old Town (walkable for our six and four-year-olds)....

Staying in Quartier International

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
