Great hotel. Being in Montreal often this is now my go to hotel since its the best hotel for the price. Although the rooms are small they're very space efficient. Mini fridge , sink , plates and cutlery are provided perfect to prepare snacks. The 24h convenience store just completed it all. Sleek , modern perfect for a weekend getaway.

i stayed here on a weekend trip to montreal. location was good, close walk to many cafes and restaurants. the rooms were basic, with very dark decor to match the hotel's dark and modern style, which was a bit hit and miss. the bed was very soft and comfortable, which was the best thing i can say about this hotel....

The entrance into the hotel was modern and beautiful. We checked in pretty quick, and stayed in one of their pop up rooms. Though it was a little small, it was pretty perfect for what we needed for that weekend. We loved the ambiance of the room, the stand up shower was pretty great. The room was very clean, great...

We stayed here during a busy summer weekend because we were able to get a last minute reservation. The location is pretty good, convenient access to bars, restaurants, shopping and transit. The decor was a bit cheesy (matte black paint - that type of thing) but it was relatively clean and quiet. I would stay there again in a pinch.

Arrived and told them to split the bill between my friend and myself. They were too stupid to figure out how to do it I guess. 20 minute later my friend paid her half in cash and they swiped both of our cards as "security". Next day I was told to pay my half. I paid in cash. This again...

I had more or less lost contact with Montreal, but when I found this place, it was an instant feeling of 'welcome back'. Its main advantage is the perfect location. You can actually walk to most of Montreal's top spots, including shopping, sightseeing, cuisine, and most of all, entertainment! So, when comes the Jazz Festival, forget the car, cab, or...

Stayed three nights in the Panorama room on the 7th floor. Comfy bed with separate living room that you can close off with a sliding door for privacy. Heating was great for winter and I had two thermostats for the living and bedrooms so I had control over the room temperatures. Great views of Hotel de Ville, Chinatown and walking...

The hotel was trendy and classy and the rooms were designed for honeymooners :). Close walk to Chinatown, Old Montréal, restaurants and shopping. Front desk clerks were friendly and 24 hr valet available. Which was extremely helpful as we had a 4am check in at the airport. Restaurant and convenience store on site. Continental breakfast available but can be jazzed...

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, there is really nothing negative I can say about it. The location is very central and near everything! Although the parking is $25 a night we were able to park on the street for free. The hotel is decorated in a very modern artsy way, the room was very modern although small, very...

Hotel Zero 1 is a welcome addition to the hotel options in Montreal. Some of the properties in this area have gotten kind of tired, so it was great to stay at this modern, well-appointed hotel with comfortable beds, great views, and nice amenities. Great restaurant options at the hotel or nearby, and walking distance to all the Montreal has...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
