I checked in and my sister was supposed to joined me. She did but the clerk told her that I didn't check in. They made a mistake on my room, there was very loud noise from 2 am to 4 am. My key card was demegnetised. They woke me up in the morning to tell me that I wasn't sup...

On arrival we were upgraded for free to a loft room and it was terrific. The staff as at the front desk are very knowledgeable and efficient. They do not rush you. They explain everything clearly and offer assistance. I have stayed at this hotel three times and I just keep going back and I am never disappointed. Although you...

I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel in November 2016 and decided to return to the hotel this past weekend for another dance festival held a couple of blocks from the hotel. I reserved a double/queen HIP room this time; the layout was an efficient use of space for two people in addition to having a sunny view plus...

Hotel Zero 1 is located at the top of Chinatown in Montreal. A newer boutique hotel that we found lovely and with exceptional service. The rooms are not huge, but very well appointed. Location is perfect and I cannot say anything bad about this place. Would gladly stay here again.

There was a very kind lady at the front desk during most of my stay. She helped me feel welcome and well taken care of. However, the thermostat was very confusing and the room was on the cold side. Also, when I checked out, the front desk staff accused me of smoking in the room when in fact I had...

We stayed for 5 nights and were really pleased that the location was walking distance from the restaurants and sights in old Montreal, including easy access to the underground walkway system, just one block away. The room, which was very comfortable, clean and quiet, unexpectedly had a fridge, microwave and plates, glasses and cutlery. We had a great meal one...

The hotel is well located for downtown, short walk to great resteraunts, museums and the picturesque old Town. Our room was very stylishly decorated as was the hotel. The room was a bit on the small side but had extras such as microwave, kitchen sink, fridge, plates, coffee machine etc. Hotel has a nice tapas bar. Staff seemed very friendly....

The Hotel was comfortable, well located, with a nice restaurant at the lobby. The location is close to major intersections and the University. The rooms are small and quiet, not a room for new relationships as you will be in really close quarters. I was told that if you use the restaurant you receive 10% discount, but this discount was...

The amenities at the hotel were vast and the stay was very comfortable. Everyone in my party enjoyed the hotel and the food--it was delicious. Highly recommended and great price!!! The neighborhood around is very nice and there's lots of places to shop, eat, dine, and go to bars if you're interested.

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
