What can I say, a fabulous find. My friend booked me in while we were on the road and I was wondering what to expect. From my initial meet with Levi , the owner who has a vintage pickup truck parked in the driveway to the hostel through to the clean kitchen, shared lounge with dvds and books and nicely...

My daughter is a veteran hostel-stayer and has shown me the wisdom and fun of this type of accommodation. When we stayed in a hostel in Panama a few years ago, I posted that one might think 70 was a bit old to be staying in a hostel, but apparently not! Charlottetown Backpackers Inn didn't disappoint. Our first two nights...

Save your money and stay in this delightful, centrally located gem on Hillsborough Avenue. You can walk to the waterfront and all of the Confederation land marks. The accommodations are quiet, clean and the breakfast was fun because I had a chance to talk to so many interesting people from all over the world. The staff are very friendly and...

This is a good little hostel, pretty comparable to other HI's around North America I've stayed at. The house is certainly charming and it's in a very convenient location, an effortless walk from the city attractions. Dorms were spacious and there's a nice warm atmosphere at the kitchen table during breakfast. The showers in the top floor bathroom had minimal...

My adult daughter and I drove over from another part of PEI, we were able to find parking easily and the open kitchen always had tea available. An added PEI bonus is free potatoes. For dinner one night, we feasted on local scallops, beans and potatoes - yummy. Breakfast is a real treat with home-made banana bread, toast, PB&J as...

Very clean and well decorated, there is a room for girls and a room for boys. The only problema is that you cannot make noise after 23:00 pm, and the staff of the hostel is reminding you this every 5 minutes, which makes your stay a little bit unconfortable.

This is one of the cutest, most cozy hostels I have ever stayed at. On the outside, the hostel looks more like a cozy red house than a backpacker's lodge. Once I stepped inside, I am instantly greeted by the reception. I was relieved and grateful that I didn't need to haul my luggage upon several flight of stairs as...

Fantastic hostel! So clean, kind and helpful staff, perfect location (5 min walk to downtown). Everyone else who was staying there was also very nice, and the common area (living room with tv, and furnished garage with pool table and record player) were fun. Breakfast in the morning is an added plus! I absolutely will stay here again.

I spent 4 nights at the Backpackers Inn. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The room is clean and tidy. Kitchen is well stocked, including free PEI potatoes! Bathrooms are small but serviceable. Being in a residential neighbourhood there are quiet hours in place from 11pm to 7 am - not a bad thing in my opinion!...

The location is great to walk to restaurants and bars. The kitchen is nice. There was a modest light breakfast provided, and the garage was converted to an entertainment room complete with a vast record collection and pool table. Would recommend to a friend...
