We selected the Colonial Charm Inn for a multi day stay due to its good reviews, true colonial feel and excellent location. We stayed in the Foster's Parlor Suite which was very cozy and had all the amenities we needed, especially the adjoining small kitchen area. The location could not be better for walking the town and the nearby beautiful...

We stayed with another couple for two nights in the upstairs rooms on the balcony. The rooms are full of antiques but comfortable with wifi and plug-ins so updated. It's Shelley that makes the place. She gets right down to business finding out what you want to do and marks a couple of maps to make sure you find everything,...

My husband was in Charlottetown for a conference and I decided to join him. He picked the Colonial Charm Inn on the reviews for the breakfasts and he wasn't wrong. Not only were they varied, delicious and plentiful but the place is quaint and charming. It's an old structure so the creaks come with the place and sneaking out at...

Colonial Charm Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast. We loved our cozy room and the bathroom was great. We loved talking to Shelley and Reg . Gave us great information on where to have dinner. We were there for two nights . We eat dinner at Sims Steakhouse Restuarant, great food. Oh let's not forget the great breakfast that...

Though it was a short stay (visiting for a few days in June 2016), Shelly (owner) and Reg were so very helpful and did everything to ensure we had the best experience (pointing out the highlights on the Island) possible during this short trip. The care invested in maintaining the Inn, ensuring that guests are well taken care of /...

We loved the coziness & charm of this character home. The hosts were helpful with dining information as well as local history. Loved learning that we stayed in the area of the house that was once the ice cream parlour! Reg's breakfast and baking was phenomenal. We enjoyed visiting with Shelly and her brother Reg... And Louissa! Hope to return...

We stayed 5 nights at this beautiful Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the look of the Inn. It was like stepping back in time. Our room on the second floor, had a spacious balcony which was a wonderful place to sit and read, do a crossword or just relax. Everyone at the Inn is friendly, gracious and...

Upon arriving at the Colonial Inn, I was greeted very warmly by Gary and his Wife Shelley. They gave me a quick tour of the place and provided me with some dinner / entertainment options around Charlottetown. As lifelong residents of the Island, they have exceptional knowledge of everything on the Island - places to see, best restaurants to eat...

dark, rundown, needs serious updating. Breakfast was unappetizing, towels looked older than the antiques. I find the positive reviews very surprising. Was one of the least appealing and uncomfortable places I have ever stayed. Not trying to be nasty, but realistic.

ColonialCharm, Owner at Colonial Charm Inn, responded to this review

I thought for a long time if we should even respond to this review or not. I could of pretended not to know who it was but we are well aware of who it was and unfortuntely remember their stay almost two years ago. They had emotionally drained all of us that were both working and those there as guests...
