We stayed at the Duchess in August and were delighted. It is an older establishment but is maintained well and sparkling clean. Sharon, the hostess was very friendly and full of good tips for seeing the island. The location is excellent - three minute walk to the Confederation Centre if you wish to see a show and close to all...

I was traveling with four family members. Sharyn was amazingly helpful from the first time I contacted her. She was very friendly & helpful. When we arrived, we were all amazed at the beautifully decorated rooms. It felt like you were at home, not staying in some impersonal hotel. Sharyn gave us lots of great suggestions & was on target...

This place has as good a location as you could ask for to see Charlottetown without needing your car and for a great price. Three of us has the 2nd floor turret suite each with our own room and it really was like staying in someone's very comfortable home. On top of everything else, Sharyn could not have been a...

I normally do not choose a B&B when I travel. I like the privacy and comfort of a hotel. The Duchess of Kent B&B has made me rethink my future accommodations to include more B&Bs. Sharyn was well prepared for us when we arrived. The room had everything that any hotel would have plus more. She provided us with the...

Great location, walking distance to downtown and waterfront. Quiet neighborhood. Rooms comfortable and tastefully decorated. So nice to have access to a living room and full kitchen. The Innkeeper Sharyn is a fountain of knowledge about Charlottetown and P.E.I. A gem of a place for those who don't want the hotel experience.

My wife and I chose PEI for our honeymoon, and had the distinct privilege of staying at the historic Duchess of Kent Inn in Charlottetown. It was the perfect choice for us! Sharyn was an amazing host, who took the time to ensure our stay was top notch. She was very diligent to explain the history of the city, as...

Myself, partner and daughter stayed for three days, and wished it could have been longer. The Inn was a great central location in Charlottetown from which to explore the city (everything is walkable, even with a 4 year old) and the island. Sharyn, the owner, was incredibly friendly, and willingly shared her encyclopedic knowledge of the island - places and...

The house is beautiful, each room a unique setting, the bathrooms lovely, and the inn keeper a dream come true. The full kitchen is an added benefit during the stay. Perfect location for walking downtown, seeing plays, having breakfast or dinners out, and experiencing all the area has to offer.

located within a short walking distance of the downtown area, restaurants and waterfront. Sharyn is a lovely hostess and full of knowledge and suggestions for sites to see and restaurants to visit. This is an old inn with lots of hot water and good plumbing.. Felt very welcomed and at home I would recommend bringing your own amenities

The four of us (2 couples) shared the 3rd floor suite. Very cozy. The central location made for an easy walk to all things Charlottetown. Sharyn was great in recommending restaurants and historic sites. We loved the wool sweater factory downtown as well as all the black & red foxes that casually wondered the city streets. Have Sharyn give you...
