This is an older hotel and desperately needing a full renovation of the rooms, as well as all facilities. The room first. It was on the rear of the building (814). The king size bed was comfortable and the a/c wheezed and rattled, but kept the room cool enough during a heatwave with outside temperatures in the mid to high...

This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever come across. Drove from Indianapolis direct to this hotel as the pictures look quite nice. The rate was not cheap by any means either. On checking in, you could tell the place was a dump!. The check in staff just wanted your credit card, and advise you of parking...

The only good thing to say about this place is I"m glad we only stayed one night. We were not a demanding group of six friends traveling through. All we expected for the price was a clean place to stay for a stop over on our way to Nashville. The rooms were dirty and the stains on the bed spread...

Unsafe hotel parking lot unlit and unmonitored. My car parked 5 feet from the building was vandalized and luggage stolen. Hotel basically said " too bad so sad." They shirked all responsibility for the crime on their property. Hotel would not refund my lodging to help pay for damages. So be careful - crime area.

My family stayed here on the long weekend for a softball tournament. Good price, breakfast and clean beds. Overall, all we needed. Walking distance to great view of river and Detroit, casino and local restaurants. Downside was terrible parking lot. Elevators a bit on creepy side. Workout room only had an elliptical and a bike. Team didn't want to swim...

Staff was friendly but elevators were incredibly slow and rooms could use updating. Although it looks as though they are starting a renovation project. I might check it out again after the renovations. Also, lines in the parking lot should be redone. Apparently we parked slightly over the line and another guest left an incredibly rude note. Not the hotels...

This was an excellent spot to see the fireworks. The park on the river was across the street. The overall cleanliness of the room was average. The hotel is old and needs some sprucing up. Continental breakfast was plentiful.
