We picked The Saint James Hotel for price, however, this Hotel is so much more. We will definitely be back and have already told many about this wonderful Hotel. Clean and comfortable are important and that is what we found with this beautiful Hotel. My...More
The St. James was a great boutique style hotel right in the city. The rooms are clean, modern and have all the amenities. The breakfast from the attached “Freshii” cafe were great. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff were all very friendly.
The hotel location is about 20-25 minutes from the CN Tower. The hotel room itself was well presented but based on what we spent on the many hotels we stayed in during our tour of East Canada, from a value for money perspective, this was...More
The St. James was beautifully clean, comfortable and quiet with a great location. It does all the important things right, without pretense. Usually I prefer a bath, but the shower was lovely and didn't get the bathroom wet. The room size was better than average,...More

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of
vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
