I was referred to Suite Dreams after my B&B of choice was closed for renovations. In all honesty, Suite Dreams is now my new inn of choice when staying in Toronto. It is spotless and very comfortable. It has a wonderful layout, with a beautiful backyard courtyard and suites that simply cannot be topped. Mr. Tan, the owner and innkeeper...

Having never stayed in a bed and breakfast before, we were admittedly pretty nervous about the whole situation. However contrary to an actual Hotel, this place felt absolutely like home to us. The cleanliness was immaculate and the comfort level was very similar to staying in your own bedroom. Mr.Tan, the host/owner , was polite and very knowledgeable about the...

Our daughter is a student in Toronto. When we travel there from New York State, we usually stay in a good hotel. For our 3-day visit last week, we had decided to go the B&B route for the first time. Based on good reviews and proximity to our daughter's home, we reserved the Sunset Suite at Suite Dreams. What a...

We had to cancel our trip three weeks ahead of the reserved time and discovered that the deposit (1 night's stay) was non-refundable. Mr. Tan was gracious about giving a refund nonetheless, but there was a $25 cancellation fee, which I'd never encountered at a B&B. (I suspect it covers their cost for charging and crediting our credit card.) My...

This was the right choice for my parents' weeklong stay in Toronto. They'd drive from Halifax. Albert Tan provided for parking in his rate, among many other excellent amenities and services (daily breakfasts, bright, spacious and clean living space and bathroom, helpufl recommendations and directions). Plus, he's a friendly, engaged (engaging, too) and kind man - exactly the type of...

A well situated B&B in Korean Town, Toronto - very comfortable, spacious room which was very well appointed - Mr Tan was very friendly and most helpful in every way possible - I would certainly recommend this B&B establishment to anyone wishing to stay in this area of Toronto.

I spent two comfortable nights in A Suite Dream. The premises are a beautifully restored townhouse just off of Bloor in the western extension of The Annex (aka Seaton Village). It's not in the center of action, but is a good base for walking downtown Toronto, or catching the subway that stops around the corner. Friendly host/owner Albert Tan runs...

I had a good stay at Suite Dreams. The property is clean and the bed was comfortable. I did find the subway noise at the property I little distracting and the location was not as central as I had hoped. Overall, I found my stay to be pleasant but probably would not stay here again if visiting Toronto.

Suite Dreams was by far the most comfortable place I've ever stayed at . Albert was extremely friendly and helpful. He was so kind that he created a " home away from home" experience. I actually looked forward to conversation with him in the mornings while I had my breakfast. I return to Toronto in two weeks and I have...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
