We had the top room, one of 3 i think and it was lovely! Not large but had everything we needed. The owner was really helpful when we arrived and gave us loads of information about how to get into the city and where to eat. Then we were left alone and didnt see anyone else until breakfast time. We...

This B&B is located in west Toronto between Queen and King street. The streetcar will take you into town in half an hour. The place feels like home and is a bit quaint - in a very nice way. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is great and differs day by day. Excellent care by Glenn and his wife. Lots of...

Glenn was a fantastic host. Very warm welcome. Best gourmet breakfast but should be served earlier than 8:30... Complainers do not bother, this is a 1891 house located on a very nice street. No TV in rooms but what an atmosphere. Lots of Tibetan restaurants around. Quiet street with fabulous houses! Very good experience!

It is an old but charming house, located on the west side of Toronto between King and Queen street, so it is easy to get to downtown via public transportation. It is relatively quiet compare to downtown and safe to stay. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around. Hyde park...

Stayed here for two nights as a base to explore Toronto and Niagara Falls. Stayed in the suite on the top floor which comfortably slept five. Amazing breakfast each morning set us up for the day. Great location which was near public transport. Our host Glenn was friendly and gave us a very in depth and helpful introduction upon arrival.

This is an old manor and run by a nice couple. Breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable and it was easy to get in and out of downtown by public transit or a car. We stayed two nights and went to a ball game. We also greatly enjoyed a trip to the Toronto islands.

This is just the perfect place to stay in Toronto!!! Perfect location, beautiful, quiet street in a bustling and interesting (lots of great little restaurants and shops) neighborhood. In a less than 'fashionable' part of town (Toronto's West End) sits this 19th century house. Built for a doctor it's now a comfortable place to stay. On a quiet tree lined street , convenient to Torontos two main East /West streetcars, Bonnevue has free wi fi and parking plus easy access to highways and the airport, it has the...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
