Located in western Toronto, about 25 minutes from downtown by streetcar which is half a block away. Quiet residential neighborhood with many good ethnic restaurants within walking distance. Greeted by Dorothy who was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, good size, en suite bathroom....More
Wonderful hosts, couldn't do enough for us, very knowledgeable. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts brilliant!! Very convenient for transport, trams or bus, to town centre, good local restaurants
We arrived in the evening and were welcomed by Dorothy who was very friendly. Our room was on the top floor and with sloping ceilings and an airconditioning unit. The bed was fitted under a dormer window, but didn't fit so I banged my head...More
Bonnevue Manor is not downtown, but is in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to the shore and downtown. We arrived by public transport and used that system to get around as well as walking.

The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the
cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
