After being welcomed and thoroughly impressed with the room the staff continued to impress. Each night I was greeted and offered dinner options for our group without even asking. The location was very convenient to all our downtown destinations.

I booked directly with hotel 6 weeks in advance. Special weekend with my sisters. Booked a suite with 2 queen beds so that we could be together. When checking in, we had 1 king bed and was told we could bring in 2 cots - not when we were paying $439/night! Ended up with 2 separate rooms and different floors....

We had planned a play and dinner in Toronto and were surprised to find this hotel almost beside the Mirvish Theatre. We arrived early because we had tickets for the afternoon performance and were pleasantly surprised to find that our room was ready. The room was very nice and had a small kitchenette and laundry facilities. Perfect if you are...

Booked room last minute via Hotel Tonight and enjoyed both the room and the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a diner attached to the hotel that serves food 24 hours. Location is perfect if you are planning on spending time downtown or somewhere close to that area in Toronto.

We loved the location of this hotel when we booked it for TIFF! We traveled with friends and our 15 year old son. I loved the fact that we had a full kitchen. However we had a small closet that wouldn't even hold a full sized hanger, room 1104. I am someone who is an organized packer and unpacker and...

I recently stayed and was amazed by the room amenity and layout. When walking into the room the pictures didn't do it justice as the space and hardwood flooring blew me away. The check-in process was simple and quick and I was in for a good nights sleep without delay. Will return!

We stayed in a condo with a great view on the 41st floor. Great downtown location, close to everything. Very comfort apartment, with wonderful and helpful owners. My family and I had a great time. If we are in the area again, will stay there.

This hotel was classified as a 4-star and it should be a 3 at most. I booked it through Hotwire and I always choose 4 stars and stayed in nice hotels in New York, Boston, San Francisco, Toronto and Vancouver. I've never filed a negative review. I would not mind it if I chose to book a 3 star. Bottom...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
