I had a group of colleagues staying at The Pantages for a few days at the beginning of March. Jessica was working at the front desk during their stay and she was amazing. She made a number of great restaurant recommendations and was generally very pleasant and helpful. She is a real asset to your team and I would recommend...

Just a quick note, and I never do reviews despite my myriad of hotel stays, to say that the staff at Pantages (especially Andre, Sammy and Claudia) are the best! They accommodate any request or change I make and make me laugh. Can't best that.

I have stayed here several times before and have always been happy. There has been some changes that aren't noted on website such as no more minibar. Not a big thing as it saved money and fridge was still there to use. It took a little longer to check in and clerk was kind enough to offer free breakfast, but...

We have stayed here 3 times previously, and have great experiences. This was quite different. The staff was excellent, friendly, efficient, helpful and personable. The lobby is as beautiful as always. The room, however was a different story. The laminate floor and a golf ball sized hole in it, and the floorboards had separated leaving a 2.5 cm gap between...

Located in the heart of theatre district. Beside Massey Hall and St. Michael's Hospital. Close to the Eaton Centre. Nice clean hotel. Quiet. Staff are friendly. Did not have our reservation from Priceline. Booked back in July with Priceline. Hotel stated they weren't even on board with Priceline at that time. Even though likely Priceline's issue, the clerk had no...

Stayed at the Pantages for a night at the beginning of the month. Overall we had a nice stay. The rooms are very specious and clean (especially for a downtown Toronto hotel). The hotel is in a central location and you can easily walk to shopping/restaurants/ theatres. Front desk staff Sammy and Andre were very pleasant, welcoming and went out...

Booked this hotel because of proximity to Mirvish theatre, as we had tickets for the Bodyguard. We arrived early on a Saturday, but we given a great room right away! I booked well in advance, so I'm not sure if that was the reason for such a great room, but if you don't care about a view, ask for room...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
