The room was amazing, great view and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating to our needs. Arranging for a later check out was a breeze. Will definately stay again!! This is an amazing place to stay!

This is a shout out to the hotel staff who were pleasant and accommodating to my requests. Also, Nespresso machine in my room was replaced with a working unit, and in the meantime a complimentary cappuccino was delivered to my room. The only service that I'm yet to experience is their complimentary shuttle, which was more of a ghost ship...

Nice property, well appointed bathrooms and showers, and great beds. The hotel is on a slightly random street in the entertainment district, with few amenities nearby and is currently under construction, however, it is forgivable as the thing that makes this hotel outstanding is the team. From the bellmen, front desk, to the room service attendant, everyone welcomes you with...

Last minute reservation and slightly difficult to locate the entrance BUT it was all worth it! Details all around. I loved the lobby setting. The room was spotless. After a long week, I was excited to find out that I could request a registered massage therapist who came in the next day and did an awesome job. Short stay, Long...

I have always loved this hotel. Everything is perfect: the service, the rooms, the beds... if I could stay at this exact hotel in every city in the world I would be very happy! They are renovating the restaurant downstairs and will be offering breakfast, lunch and dinner soon which will be great! Note to hotel: if you could set...

My husband and I chose the hotel for its size (we wanted luxury but not one of the huge alternatives) and location. We chose wisely. Essentially, we used it as a base to walk all over the main parts of Toronto. There is construction on the interior and nearby on the block but it didn't affect our experience. This place...

Stayed for 3 nights at Le Germain Toronto. Prices were good and service was excellent. Very pretty modern décor, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Not far from shopping areas (by taxis), CN Tower. Did not eat at their restaurant, so I cannot comment on it. Nespresso coffee machine in the room, truly a bonus! Truly enjoyed the restaurants recommended. Great...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
