My boyfriend and i stayed at Hotel Ocho for a night and we loved it. the location is perfect, it is steps away from queen street. We chose to park across the street, which was super close, and about $15. This hotel is so unique. The staff was amazing and more than accommodating. We were upgraded to a suite, and... More

After having to wake up the front desk to get in, they seemed more interested in going back to sleep than helping me with my reservation. Even after showing my confirmation email, they were unable to help. Any other hotel in Toronto would have been more professional than Ocho.

I'm sorry you that we didn't take care of you properly. Our front desk is manned from 7am-12am, any check ins after midnight are brought to the attention of the night manager. The night manager was not informed of your reservation because you had booked the wrong date... That being said, the night manager was also not knowledgeable enough to... More

I loved Hotel Ocho, and the hotel is stable for simple traveller, like me. Where I liked about the hotel were - Room: I stayed a queen bed room for 5 nights. Simple and clean. We decided to have our wedding at Hotel Ocho after viewing the space and meeting with Rish. The space is stunning. Cool but very comfortable. The staff are amazing, Rish went out of her way to make our wedding spectacular. The food is very good, with lots of menu items that are like things you'd make yourself, though with more... More

My boyfriend and I have stayed at this hotel on 3 separate occasions, most recently on Dec 29th, and have nothing but positive experiences at each stay. HEY!!! So nice to hear from you! Happy you enjoyed your stay, the open concept washroom in our suite is not ideal, I know. We're considering installing a fogged glass door, but it's still in its inception phase :S. I try to stay at the Ocho every time I'm in Toronto for work. It's a tiny place, only 12 rooms on two floors, above a bar and restaurant. The concierge always remembers me, and the bartenders are friendly. The design is modern but not too minimalist, with old wood ceilings and exposed brick walls. The Internet is fast and... More

Got a great deal at this place and it ended up being a perfect choice. Loved the location. Right in Chinatown, but within easy reach of Queen West, downtown, Kensington Market, and the Art Gallery of Ontario. Two tram lines right out the door and a subway stop less than 10 minutes away. As a hotel, it's pretty no frills... More

Hotel Ocho was the venue for our wedding and we were thrilled with everything! The Ocho might just be one of the best kept hospitality secrets in TO! Sure it's not for the high maintenance types who'll whine about having to schlep their own luggage, and amenities like a gym/spa/niteclub and all the other things you end up paying through the nose for at those other painfully ostentatious hotels are non existent here, but,...
