Great hotel that has everything for the downtown Toronto experience. Centrally located close to public transportation, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and nightlife. Great staff and agree with others with positive comments about Richard at front desk. Had to give less stars 😕😕😕 because even though Richard upgraded our room, it was well worn and in need of a refresh. Carpet stains,...

Richard is the best, he's better reviewed then I am. That makes me jealous. I'll have to speak with him about this.

Pros: overall, very nice attendants (specially Richard, very nice guy, with always a smile in his face). The room is nice, with a curious distribution. Very nice bathroom, with all you might need. Well situated, with Bike Share Toronto service just in front of the door. Neighbourhood full of shops, restaurants and cafes. Cons: poor breakfast. Not very good sound...

Thanks for your review! As the hotel is only 2 and 3 floors off of ground level, you'll sometimes hear some of the more spirited individuals on weekends. Sorry about breakfast, it's while supplies last so we don't include it in our fees, and charge a minimum if you're interested ($5)

Great location at the edge of Chinatown right near one of the most happening streets in all of Toronto. The staff had excellent recommendations and the service was overall phenomenal. It's a little weird the desk in up under the stairs but it all fits into this funky trendy hip place. Jéan and Sharon

Staff was incredibly personable, location was super convenient and room was a cool open concept loft-style with exposed brick. Unfortunately there are a couple of minor downsides: bed linens had stains and tears, the carpet had stains and the bathroom was way too dark to see in the mirror properly. Would stay again though.

I've spoken with ownership and I've put housekeeping on high alert for stains or tears on our linens, this will be dealt with. Glad everything else was great

We stayed in a queen bed room at Hotel Ocho for one night. I would definitely recommend this hotel! Location was great for our purpose in downtown Toronto. We had gone to Uniun Nite Club and it was a $5 cab ride back. I personally love Chinatown so being right on Spadina was great. The hotel doesn't have dedicated parking...

We normally stay at the Gladstone but didn't want to be so far west for this trip. We found Ocho which had a more central location for our trip. Hotel is small, but has everything you'd need for a short trip. Rooms are clean and modern with a big window that lets in plenty of natural light and a super...

This is a very nice hotel in the Chinatown area. The rooms a small but modern and clean. There is a restaurant in the hotel. I did not eat there as I wanted to experience Chinatown. Check in was easy and fast. Parking was close a block away in the Green P lot 14.00 per day

We booked Ocho as the reception venue for our wedding and it was amazing. We didn't think we'd be able to find a venue we liked in our budget downtown Toronto - but this was everything we were hoping for. Loved the exposed brick / wood beam / concrete aesthetic. The staff was super helpful in planning and coordinating the...
