I loved the modern elements such as painted cement walls, all of the electronic amenities, and green apples to snack on whenever you like. Big modern bar on the main floor to meet with friends and colleagues. Steps to the Rogers centre and the ACC, Ripley's Aquarium and tons more right downtown. The rooms are so comfy! Soft beds, tons...

During my last trip to Toronto I left it too late to book at the HLG. I ended up staying a short distance away at the Royal York. My loss. The rooms at the Le Germain are superb and quiet. You rarely hear any noise from adjacent rooms or overhead. The staff are extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. The hotel...

Great centrally located hotel with full breakfast included. So close to CN TOWER, museums, next door to stadium where Mapleleafs play, down the street from Rogers Center. We also were an easy walk to ferry to go to Center Island which was charming! The room was spacious with modern decor and bed was very comfy! Great choice for a Toronto...

I surprised my boyfriend with a night away to Toronto to watch the UFC fight at the Air Canada Centre. I chose Hotel Le Germain because of how close it is to the ACC, we didn't even have to brave the cold because there is a walkway through the hotel to the ACC as well as to the Real Canadian...

This hotel had a fantastic room, very upscale. The closeness to the hockey rink was a big seller for us. Being right downtown was another huge plus. Would definitely recommend this to all of our friends

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
