The hotel is a little rough around the edges, but it served its purpose when I stayed there in September. The neighbourhood is fantastic and is conveniently located in terms of being able to get downtown. I would stay there again as the beaches is a gem of a neighbourhood.

Trilogy86 This neighbourhood is a very nice place to live in Toronto. They say its like a small town feeling within a large city. The lake is within walking distance. Regards Bill Chemij General Manager

I found that the hotel was decently located near my friends and a reasonable rate as well. I didn't notice the street cars nor sounds from other rooms in the hotel. The breakfast was decent and adequate. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

I come to this hotel for 1 weekend every year in the fall. The staff are great, Geoff is my favourite and the GM is extremely hospitable. We're already planning to return this coming fall. Typically, we try arrive with ~40+ rooms booked.

We stayed one night when all hotels in the downtown core were full. Nothing to write home about but it was clean and the staff reasonably friendly. If you need a one or two night place to crash while you see the city it should do. Free parking and internet are provided, but as a lot of other reviews say,...

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
