We stayed one night, the location was convienent for our needs. However these isnt anywhere onsite to get a beverage(juice) after 11pm as the resturant is closed and so is the onsite Starbucks. TV gets a lot of channels and a clear picture. We didnt use the wifi so we dont know if it worked well or not.The Carlton Resturant...

Great location. Just next to College station and it connects you all other places. There is a theatre near by and lot of other attractions. There are good restaurants in front of the hotel. There are some good bars and clubs with in 500-800 meters. No complementary breakfast and you have to figure out your own water bottles ;)

My co-worker and I really enjoyed this hotel! It was in a perfect location, close to some great shopping, restaurants and just aa short walk to the subway. Service was over the top even when it was so busy given the fact we were there during Black Friday shopping along with the grey cup, and cannot forget to mention the...

Having stayed in another major hotel chain in Toronto a week before this stay, I can easily say this hotel was far superior and exceeded all of my expectations. The staff were great and very accommodating, the room was fine and you cant go wrong for the location. If this hotel is in your budget range then seriously consider it....

Stayed a couple of nights in early November in a very nice room on the 21st floor with a nice view of Toronto, albeit from a very small window, but a view nonetheless. This is a complete hotel with restaurant, concierge, parking and situated within walking distance of all the major downtown attractions. It took me about 25 minutes to...

We really enjoyed this hotel. We were in town for a cheer competition and so decided to make a weekend of it. Loved the Starbucks in the hotel. Great pool for the kids. Our room was small but nice, and we ended up booking for a second night. A couple of weird things - 1) something was up with the...

This is a large hotel but staff couldn't have been more helpful. Room was adequate and clean. There was a coffee machine in the room and I asked if we could boil water for tea in it. Unbelievable. The outside temperature in Toronto as I wake up this morning is 6C or 49F. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
