There is no parking lot at the facility you have to park a couple of blocks away at an open lot that you have to pay for. The parking lot is not advertised and is behind an apartment building. The room we were in was right behind the ttc street car depot and was constantly noisy all night. On top...

I needed a cheap place to stay for an appointment at the hospital. The room was way to small for 2 people. The pipes were banging all night and when we complained front desk said they were aware of the problem. The platform the bed was sitting on had old food on it, and lots of dust. The bathtub caulking...

I was not impressed with this hotel for many reasons. Firstly, no hotel parking. I had to drive couple of blocks away from the hotel to park in a private parking lot and walked back to the hotel in a very cold weather. My king size jacuzzi room was so small that I could barely move around freely. The location...

Overall not terrible. Room was clean and check in was quick. Rooms were larger than previous places I have stayed recently. The fridge kept items cold and the breakfast selection was average. I picked this hotel due to its proximity to the large hospital nearby and would stay again. Carpets are a little tired and stained but this is not...

I stayed one night and was completely freezing. The guy at the front desk informed me that they have a deal with their energy company and do not turn the heat on until the end of October. There are two very thin blankets and a sheet on the bed. Last night was close to zero degrees and I slept with...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
