I have now stayed twice at this hotel during the Toronto International Film Festival. It's definitely out of the downtown, easily a 20-30 minute subway ride, so you would think it's quite out of way for someone looking to do that. The thing is... why pay a higher price for a lesser hotel downtown? This hotel has it's minor scuffs...

Thanks for your feedback, busiest week of the year, Toronto Film Festival. All the stars are here and of course all the hangers on, plus critics, producers, directors etc... mix all of those with a busy city and it becomes a great time of year. Downtown is full at very high prices, so thanks for recognizing our Fair rate strategy......

I asked for their special bread( which they advertised ) and was told they did not have anymore, and I saw it on the buffet. There answer was that is only for the buffet! What? I ordered off the menu. What about the satisfaction they also advertise in the elevator? Do not recommend this hotel!!!

Sometimes i wonder whatever happened to good old common sense? The bread is there why not serve/offer it.. I know it is too late but i think if you come back tomorrow, you will get the speciality bread!! Thanks for your feedback, cheers, Michael.

The service was good and the staff was helpfull and smiling. The hotel is close to the subway, but it takes approximately 20 minutes to downtown. Free wifi with decent capacity. The hotel is quite and clean.

Thanks for taking time to review us. Location, is it good? I'm biaised I think we are in a great location, just off the main road, quiet, but close enough to everything in North York and only 20 minutes on a direct subway to the downtown core. Hope you will stay again. Cheers, Michael.

It's adequate for a business trip. Free wifi was reliable. Great tv and channels comprehensive. Staff friendly. Good sized bathrooms. Excellent breakfast. Needs updating as it feels/looks like an early 1990s mall. Short on electrical outlets in rooms (none by bed)

We stayed here for the location to attend a friend's wedding in Toronto. When we arrived after an 11 hour drive and asked about help with luggage, the desk clerk directed us to a cart. Room was clean, and reasonably comfortable, but worn and ready for a redo. Wifi in the room so weak as to be useless, but it...

Great location in the heart of North York and atop the North York Centre subway station. Access to major highway (401) is also very good. The room condition was satisfactory with basic amenities. Only one telephone in the room and it was at the desk. It’s unusual not to have a phone near the bed. The hallway including the entry...

Thanks for your feedback. Firstly let me say, there is no opt in or out when it comes to Le Club Accor, the standards are there to be adhered to, it is the individual team member whose performance varies. And it is so disappointing, within 5 years of the start of the club we have over 14 million members worldwide,...

Thank you. Very frustrating, I just do not understand it. Every day room attendants clean the rooms and check the basics, eg TV remote working, TV working, lightbulbs, etc etc...so why could we not fix the items you mention before you arrived? I'll follow up with the housekeeping team. Thanks again, cheers, Michael.

Thanks for your constructive feedback. I'll follow up with the Trio Team, to ensure we improve our general level of service. Maybe I am just old school but simple hospitality means ensuring that your guests enjoy themselves and leave the restaurant happy!! Clearly some work to do. Cheers, Michael.
