Convenient downtown location with an average lobby. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Room was comfortable, bed a bit soft, clean, contemporary look. Complimentary WiFi for Hilton Honors members. Note, the downtown location makes it a $60+ cab ride from the airport.

This hotel is located very centrally in downtown Toronto. There are so many things to see and do within walking distance. No real complaints, however, no "wow" factor either. Pretty much exactly what I would expect from a Hilton hotel. It seemed like a busy place, but the room was extremely quiet. I would be happy to stay here again.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. However, it feels old. Internet is actually pretty awful. I was in a low floor and there was no real view. I did not investigate the restaurant though the bar in the lobby seemed rather busy during the evenings. The coffee in the room was not very good. There is a...

Hotel is in good location, easy to access to many interested places. Hotel staff is very nice, give good services including valet parking. With Hhonor membership, we get very good services from hotel including adding another single bed with free of charge.

Hilton Downtown offers a great getaway for the family. Kids will enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool and everyone will like the buffet breakfast in the morning. Rooms were clean and newly decorated. Free Wi-Fi keeps everyone happy. Beds were very comfortable.

This is more of a "business trip" hotel than a family friendly hotel. I think we were the only family staying there during our visit to Toronto. We felt a bit out of place among the suits/business travelers.

Staying at this hotel was amazing. Other than being in the heart of downtown and the financial district of Canada the staff at this hotel made me feel nothing but at home. My every need was very well taken care off, especially by the housekeeper assigned to my room (Aurelia) who did a very spontaneous job. I've stayed at many...

I would highly recommend this hotel. Staff are very courteous and helpful and we had a magnificent stay. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Bathroom is lovely. Theatres, ballpark, Union Station, shopping, and many restaurants all within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
