Check in was very friendly, even though I and my kids were there five hours early. Room spotless and well laid out, with perhaps the best television (and choice of channels) I've ever seen in a room anywhere in the world. Stayed in a club room and the club lounge was very well run, with a good selection of food...

I Have been staying at the Sheraton Center Downtown Toronto for a long time and it used to be my most favorite hotel in Toronto the service from Brian Chaytor is so Incredible beyond what you would get from any of the hotels which I have stayed around the world. I stay normally around 225 nights a year with the...

We picked the Sheraton Centre Hotel as part of our Mirvish (see Mirvish.com ) Theater/Dinner/Hotel Special Package and we made our reservations through Mirvish/Ticket King. I called the hotel to ask for a quiet king room at the end of the corridor AND an early arrival. Of course they couldn't promise the early arrival, but a great room was available...

The Sheridan has been there for 40+ years, and it shows. While the lobby is fresh and exciting, with a lovely waterfall, the rooms are tired and ordinary. Windows can't be opened to let in fresh air and the hot water was a long time coming. There was no coffee pot and no bathrobes to wear to the pool. It's...

Very nice, very well kept. Pretty waterfall display in the middle of the hotel with walkthrough to shopping. Good dining options. Near city hall and a LOT of great restaurants. Walking distance to the main attractions including the aquarium, sports arenas, and waterfront area. Also a ton of public transportation options - subway, streetcars, and commuter rail to airport.

This is a very nice hotel, centrally located and the staff is excellent. Bed and bedding were very comfortable and rooms are very nice. I liked that a coffee maker & coffee/cream was provided. Pool area is lovely as are all the common areas of the hotel

Conferences can seem the same but the hotel and location can make all the difference. The Sheraton's central location made it possible to shop at the Eaton centre, visit Nathan Phillips Square and go to the Ed Mirvish Thestre within easy walking distance. My only hesitation in giving this hotel a five star is that it is starting to show...

Great stay as always! Renovations are sensational. Would like to see the hot tub replaced though. Pool area one of the best in Toronto. Staff friendly and accommodating. Parking available besides valet if preferred.

This was my second time at a conference in this hotel. Love the location...close to great food and shopping ! The staff are friendly and very helpful. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job keeping things in order and making up the very comfortable beds. The gym and pool are top notch.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
