Great Stay !!! From the check-in desk, to staff service, to cleanliness and location, this hotel earns a 5 🌟 in my opinion. We had a slight mix up with our Hotels.com reservation, but not to worry - the assistant manager quickly & professionally took care of the issue and we were on our way. The room is clean and comfy with all expected comforts. I appreciate the less waste in the room toiletries with wall mounted bottles of lovely JR Watkins shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast - but everything was bright, clean, well stocked and hot/fresh. Overall, our stay was perfect for our Toronto getaway during Christmas market season. Well done Holiday Inn Express ! You done fantastic for service, comfort and professionalism.

This is our second time staying at this hotel the first was during New Year 3 years ago. We were able to check in early at 1pm instead of the standard 4 pm check in time.Unlike the Holiday Inn Downtown Toronto the rooms at this hotel are more spacious and newly renovated. The hotel corridors are twice wider compared to the other Holiday Inn downtown Toronto hotel. Breakfast was so so but at least its free.We had a good view of a park and the Toronto skyline in our room.We would stay here again

I was in Toronto last week for a couple of days and, having stayed here before, I wanted the familiarity. It worked out very well. This is going to be long so I'll break it down into categories... Location - If you're looking for something downtown, but not within the chaos, this is as good as you'll get. It's on the corner of Lombard and Jarvis, steps away from Adelaide. You're a 5-7 min walk from Yonge St, a 5 min drive from the QEW, and a 5 min drive from the Don Valley Parkway. It's incredibly easy to get to from any highway. Check-in - This was a breeze. The staff were polite, accommodating, and very helpful. They give you all of the info you need! Parking - I have not seen a breakdown of this online so I wanted to make sure I included it. You enter the main hotel driveway off either Adelaide or Lombard and the front doors to the hotel are on the east side of the circular driveway. Across from the hotel entrance, on the west side of the driveway, is the underground parking entrance. It's clearly marked and has a 6-foot-1 height restriction. You MUST check in to the hotel first as they give you the code to get into the underground parking garage. Once you have the code, you drive onto the ramp, punch in the code, and then the door opens. The first turn in the garage is tight to the right but the rest of it is easy. The spots are big enough for a decent-sized SUV to fit into. Once you park, you find a door to the elevators and head up. The elevators take you right to your floor. This is one of the easiest parking situations I've run into. I've included a picture to explain the parking entrance location. Lobby - Inside the main doors, to the right, is a small "market" of sorts. It's not big - a couple of coolers, a freezer, and a couple of shelves - but they're stocked with munchies, smaller meals, desserts, drinks, and water. Prices are all listed and fairly reasonable ($3 or so for a Snapple, for instance). You can put them right on your room bill. Inside the doors to the left (and ahead) are lounge chairs and a dining room with coffee and a computer. It's a nice setup, though I didn't use any of it. The Room - Getting to the room was a breeze. The hallways are clearly marked. The room itself was a king-sized one; it had several electrical outlets, a nice TV, a work desk, and lots of lighting. It takes a bit of time to figure out which light switches turn on which lights but they all do something worthwhile! I also had a fantastic view of downtown (picture included). The room came with a microwave (did not use), a fridge (very helpful), and a Keurig coffee maker. This was a single-cup one; you have to use the ones they provide or the machine won't work. I learned that real quick. They provide sugar and a "whitener"; personally, I tried a cup and went to the Tim Horton's at the end of the block (one block west on Adelaide). To each their own, though. The bathroom looked like it was newly renovated; great lighting and no issues. The shower was my only concern. The water pressure wasn't good and the "grip bar" that's normally in a shower was attached to the sliding door. It could slide on someone and cause an issue. As well, the tub did not have any real grip on the bottom. It didn't bother me but I could see someone having trouble with it. Between the "bar" and the tub grip, it's maybe something the hotel can look into. If I'm having concerns, someone else likely does, too. Conclusion - I've stayed in a few hotels in Toronto over the last 10 years and this is my favourite. It's very easy to get to, the parking is a breeze, the staff is outstanding, it's comfortable, and within walking distance of everything you need. The price has gone up in the last couple of years but, compared to the rest of downtown, it's very reasonable. I highly recommend it and will be staying here anytime I'm in Toronto.

We needed to make a quick exit from the nightmare AirBnB we were staying at at 11pm on a Thursday night. We needed accommodations for my fiance and I plus our 16mo daughter. The two nightshift staff, Arul and Willie, were exceptional in helping set us up in a two queen room isolated at the end of a hallway to ensure a quiet space for us and especially our daughter to sleep. They extended our check out time until noon to give all of us plenty of time to get in a really good night's sleep and sleep in, which our daughter badly needed after two horrible nights. I hope Arul and Willie are rewarded by management because they went above and beyond to help make it a quiet, restful night for our family.
