This hotel was a welcoming beacon after a hard day's work. I asked for a city view, so I had two rooms: a sitting room with a dining table (good size, with four chairs), couch, comfy chair, sink with counter, microwave and fridge. The bed was in its own room, with sliding doors, which makes for a very quiet sleep....

My spouse and I had never been to Niagara Falls--so we went. Stayed on the Canadian side and went to Niagara By The Lake. All of it was really eye opening experience--best part was the "side trip" for two days in Toronto. What a gem! We stayed at the Cambridge Suites. Very centrally located right off Yonge Street; within walking...

Dear Wald010, Thanks for the review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and were able to experience our great city as part of your Niagara Falls excursion. Maybe next time Niagara can be the side trip and we can be the main event! (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) Don't hesitate to let me know if I can ever help with...

We spent four very comfortable nights at Cambridge Suites, Toronto. The suite, which contained a frig and kitchen sink, was spacious with a separate bedroom and a large 2-way bathroom. Staff were pleasant and any requests were attended to promptly. Dundas Square and the major retailers were only a 5 minute walk. The very popular St Lawrence Market was just...

After getting a great deal ($135/night) for a Deluxe Suite online, I was excited for my stay at this hotel. Let me just say, it was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. Granted, I didn't have to interact with the staff much and, also, I'm a pretty low-maintenance traveler. My love of this hotel is based on...

We stayed two nights at this property. Great friendly service. The room was beautifully appointed. We were upgraded to a better suite with breakfast and there was a card and bottle of sparkling wine in our room because we were celebrating a special anniversary. We have stayed at the Royal York, Hilton and Sheraton Centre. I would reccomend this property...

I chose this hotel due to its high rating on Trip Advisor, and must admit that I was expecting a lot. The location was superb, and the rooms were very good given the price. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
