We were visiting some friends in Toronto and decided to spend a couple of days before in the city. This place turned out to be a good find. The location is very good, as it's a short walk from the main train station and not far from downtown. The room was quite large as they are all suites. Having a...

Unfortunately, I have had to stay here 3 times over the past year. The night staff is extremely rude, making me show proof of purchase, even though I paid full price. The staff would not allow my guests to come upstairs without paying a fee of $25. I have stayed at plenary of hotels in Toronto, and the price point...

Stayed here from Boxing Day and over New Year. All staff are wonderful, really friendly and helpful. Can't compliment them enough! We were given an Executive Suite on the 19th floor so had a view of Downtown. The Suite was lovely, spacious and comfortable! We found the bed very comfortable and relaxing, no issues from us. Plenty of mod cons...

We stayed on New Year's Eve so we wouldn't have to drive back home after festivities. Location is perfect, close to heart of the city. Room was big, 2 rooms with large bathroom, Keurig coffee, fridge, microwave in living room, king bed in second room. We were on the 17th floor with a good view facing east. Since their on-site...

Hand a great suite with a separate sitting room with a coffee machine and a fridge. Everyone from the checkin to the room service and housekeeping were friendly and made us feel at home. Really good suggestions for dinner and on how to get around. Nice all day breakfast place just down the road for those of us who do...

We attended a Christmas party in downtown Toronto and did not want to travel home afterwards. This hotel is right downtown but slightly of the busy and noise main street. We were on the 21st floor and had a very quite room with a good view of the city. It was reasonably large with updated decor. The room was economical...

The staff are very rude and treat you extremely disrespectfully. Coming in alone at night and was essentially treated like a sex worker when in fact I was a paying hotel guest. I would stay far away from this hotel at all costs. I noticed there are several other reviews stating the same issue. The General Manager will not respond...

I stayed here with my girlfriend for the weekend and quite liked how nice the hotel looked so we booked a room. Once we got there we realiZed parking was 27$ a night, ouch! So we parked just down the street for a fraction of the price. The room was nice once we got there. Interesting layout. But as night...

It is my first stay here. I am happy that the suite is big, and the team at the front desk is helpful to provide suggestions on nearby restaurants. The hotel is surrounded by tall but boring office buildings, so there are no nice views from the suite. The air conditioner is a little bit noisy. The interesting thing is...

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. I am glad that you were impressed by our spacious suites and front desk team. On the other hand, I am sorry to hear of your disappointments. It is an unfortunate reality that due to our location in the financial district, there cannot be views from all of our suites....

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
