I have stayed at this property numerous times since 1993 and always found it convenient and comfortable. However, they now have a blanket Late Night Visitor Policy which is displayed on the front counter and laminated in the room. It requires that any visitor you have on the premises after 11:00 p.m. be registered as a Guest. Even though they...

To start, the location is nice because its so close to the eaton centre so many stores in walking distance. The staff were nice and professional but the 'no unregistered guest visitor"policy is really upsetting. We came from out of town and at 10pm the security were giving us a hard time for 4 friends who lived in Toronto but...

This is the best hotel I have ever been to! I've been staying here since 1998 and the staff and hotel make it feel like home. Truly amazing! I've enjoyed hundreds of stays here and they always provide a nice surprise in our room and they always go out of our way to make our visit extra special!

This hotel is centrally located for the business or leisure traveller and its suite format makes ideal for families or long stays. Only downside was that my room had a hole in the bathroom wall and a toilet paper roll dispenser awkwardly located near the floor.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on business and of all the hotels I have stayed in this was impressive. The room was very spacious and always clean, the staff very courteous, but the Internet speed was not the best as I had to often stand near the door to get good reception. Because of how my company booked me...

I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. My room was large and clean. The service was nice and punctual. But there were some odd things that take things away as a business traveller: - the hangers that you can't remove from the closets are annoying - the repeated explicit notices about 'no guests after 11 pm' are...

The Cambridge Suites gives you a setting room and king size bed. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Looked newly renovated. Breakfast is included. It is a buffet but wait service for coffee. The food on the buffet was good, especially the scrambled eggs and bacon. The hotel is strict about no noise after 10:00pm. Would definitely...

Over the years I have stayed here many times. For an older property it is kept very well and the staff "down home professional" Quiet and clean. Now the so call "happy hour" is not well known or understood , nor are you informed about it by the bar staff , but then again it is very limited and you...

Stayed here for a couple of days. Large suite. Clean. Very fast (free) internet connection. Parking cost is reasonable (for Toronto) with in/out privileges. View of outside street - at least didn't stare at another building's wall. Included fridge was useful.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
