First off, location was great in the sense that we were in walking distance to the Eaton Centre, so if you're a big shopper, that was handy. Having said that, the location was horrible in regards to all the noise you have to deal with in the middle of the night. The walls are paper thin; we heard a women...

Very clean hotel with a great staff. However the rooms are very small. A fine hotel if you are only in town for a night and looking for a place to crash but not so much if you are going to be around for a week and want to work from the room. The location is top notch with most...

We stayed for two nights - booked because it had a good internet deal. I can now see why they have an aggressive internet deal (I love Bond"). Price at desk was a lot higher until we go the clerk to honour the deal. Staff was very friendly. The room was clean BUT very dated. My room had a double...

Great location, friendly staff. Easily accessible from the subway. Rooms are small but nicely renovated (think Ikea) and definitely adequate for an overnight stay. Very reasonably priced for Toronto - although we did take advantage of a promotion. Note: "blinds" in room could perhaps be a bit more permanent. :-) Across the street is an old pub called the Imperial...

This is a small hotel, with small rooms but with very polite employees, very clean and new. Wooden floors, nice bed. Windows practically doesn't open. Shower doesn't have a door so the bathroom gets all wet. Would stay again.

I stayed at Bond Place in April, the lady on the front desk was great, check in was very fast. The room was not very big but it was comfortable and clean, all the staff was very helpful. My room was on the side of the Eaton Centre, the noise didn't bother me I slept like a baby. The only...

First, if you are looking for a great location, this is an excellent hotel. It is a 5 minute walk to the Eaton Centre and Yonge Street, with lots of restaurants and bars close by. The room itself is clean and modern, and the hotel has a small lobby - and the exercise room is very small. I had a...

Rooms are cosy and view from a window is spectacular if you live at Dundas street side. But a bit noise because of a city center location. Zia in hotel's reception was extremely helpful with taxis, table reservations and everything else.

We stayed for two nights while visiting Toronto. We booked two rooms. The front desk was very helpful in giving us rooms on the same floor when they had originally assigned us rooms 6 floors apart. The rooms were spotless. The room I was in had good lighting and a compact but efficient and functional bathroom. The toilet paper holder,...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
