If you're going to come to Toronto do not come to this hotel. We called in advance to ask for a renovated room and the girl answered that they were all renovated. This is not true!! We had horrible carpet with burnt orange and yellow chairs with stains on them. The bathroom was very old also with old grip stains...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in December 2014 and overall we were impressed with the hotel, it's staff and amenities. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant on our last morning in Toronto and it was well priced and enjoyable. The hotel is close to main points of interest and also connects to enclosed walkways which...

We were at the Intercontinental at the same time as the PDAC and even if the hotel was very busy with all the people attending the presentations, the people from the hotel were all very nice and helpful. The pool and other facilities were great, everything was clean.

I've stayed at this establishment many times and it never disappoints (last stay Dec 2013). Great service, clean rooms, quiet, close to everything downtown and connected to union station. Rooms are a tad small but overall, well-decorated with modern taste, including the bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here while attending the HealthAchieve conference and the. Convenience to Toronto Centre was perfect. A little pricey sure but as compared to similar properties downtown comparable. Staff was very helpful and comfortable room with a great view over the lake. I will definitely stay here again especially if I have business, conference or show at Toronto Centre.

Not much to say about it, except that it exceeded expectations. My room was beautiful, great view of the CN tower. Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
