I stayed on a Friday night in February. What I appreciated most about this hotel was that I got all the benefits of being in a central location, but still got to sleep in an incredibly quiet room. Also, the lobby and hallways had a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. After making my last minute booking, I realized that I was staying...

This hotel is in a great location for the convention centre. The rooms are large (by UK standards) & clean. Great facilities & modern decor. It makes other Intercon's look really dated !Ask for a room overlooking the lake - beautiful !

Took the family here during July 4th weekend, and of course is around Canada Day as well. So lots of people. We were upgraded to the mini suite because I'm Platinum Ambassador of IHG. We had the perfect view of the CN Tower, which I could lay next to the window at night and watch the CN Tower lights change...

Stayed here this past weekend for my birthday and had a lovely room facing the train yards (doesn't sound too appealing but it was actually very cool to watch). Room was spacious and clean and had everything you could possibly need, from wine glasses to a lovely make up mirror. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I stayed there last fall during Fan Expo Toronto, and found it to be a pleasant experience. The rooms where fairly affordable, yet I had a splendid view from the window. Staff where friendly and helpful after I lost my key. Also, the building has a private access to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, so if you're attending an event...

I have honestly never had a bad stay at an intercontinental, ever. This one is no different. The hotel is HUGE but its still has the feel like your important. The rooms are clean and very nice. The gym was a perfect size. I did not use the pool but plenty of families were there using it. The restaurant had...

We picked the Intercontinental Toronto Centre for its great location. We were able to walk to most places or just take the metro. As an IHG Gold member, we had free wifi and we also received a complimentary upgrade to the 21st floor. When we looked out the window we literally had the CN Tower right in front of us...

This hotel was a perfect location for us this weekend since we went to the Leaf's game. We requested a room over looking the water and city on a high floor and it was lovely. We stayed in room 1819 - king bed that was so comfy and nice linens. We splurged and had the buffet breakfast. We highly recommend...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
