Overnight stay to attend nearby Christmas party. Nice reception by all who work there. Smiles everywhere. Room is clean and decor is modern. Bathroom looks newly tiled: grout is clean, no mould. Nice bath products that smell really good. Hair dryer is good. Shower curtain is on a curved bar to give you more room to shower without coming in...

I've stayed at this hotel once before several years ago. My experience last time wasn't great, but not terrible either. I decided to re-book as I got a decent price, knowing what I would likely get. The biggest plus about this hotel is the location as it's downtown, close to restaurants, attractions and public transport. I wouldn't book this hotel...

This is the third or fourth time I've stayed here and the quality of the service and the hotel itself is great and has been consistent each time. I would definitely recommend the Hyatt regency to anyone looking to stay in this area of Toronto.

Great hotel! Very friendly staff and good amenities provided. Location was great with many attractions that are in walking distance . Rooms are a good size. Many shops and restaurants on the same street.

Had a great overnight stay at the Hyatt. The room was compact, but clean, nicely furnished and had a good layout. Beds were comfortable and the room had excellent climate control. We were able to check in early and parking was reasonable at $30/night. Staff were helpful, attentive, friendly and personable. Would definitely stay there again.

I was quite impressed with this hotel after reading some of the reviews. We found none of the complaints of other travelers to be our experience. We travel quite a bit & stay in some pretty high end hotels like Four Seasons & Venetian in Las Vegas. It wasn't as posh but we certainly had a clean, comfortable stay. This...

This hotel is walking distance from almost everything and there is tons to see and do nearby. You are in the heart of Toronto with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. I have stayed here several times for business. It is in the heart of the Theatre District. Only steps to The Princess of Wales Theatre and a few blocks to Rogers Stadium and CN Tower. Great restaurants to satisfy every pallet line King Street. Rooms are tastefully appointed. Room service is excellent and good value.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
