Loved the rooms, comfy beds and location to the CN tower but it was also next to Union Station which is the busiest train station in Canada ! The train noise for us spoilt it somewhat. Also felt that the concierge were a little persistent chasing for tips.

Big baseball fans so we got a room with a stadium view. Several points. One, it's way noisier than I would have ever thought, throughout the day/night. Could hear cleaning crew and opening/closing of roof, logical, but surprising. We bought tickets to attend the game, but appear to have been the only people who did, almost every other field view...

I stayed in this hotel twice within 60 days and had a really good experience, thanks to Olivia at check-in. During my first visit, I stayed for 6 nights. Olivia was super helpful at check-in and placed us in a very nice room that really made it feel like home for the week. She even had a goodie package delivered...

Front staff is very helpful and friendly! I absolutely loved the creative decoration of the room and the lobby and the relaxed atmosphere. I had a really nice view on the financial district. The location is perfect for conferences taking place at Metro Conference. Just the little negative: I was told that the airport was so close that it wasn't...

If you're looking for a hotel in the heart of downtown Toronto this is a great choice! It's even better if you're in town to see a Blue Jays game as the stadium is attached to the Rogers Centre and some rooms even look onto the baseball field! Check in was quick and the staff was very friendly. There is...

Staying at a hotel within the stadium during an evening your favourite team is playing your favourite sport... Priceless. Literally. Ridiculously overpriced but loads of fun if a fan. Game over and I was in my bed within five minutes from my seat. Awesome considering it was late and I was with my young boy. Executive room was spacious and...

After visiting CN Tower, we went to the bar in the Renaissance Bar for a beer and boy, was it worth it. The floor to ceiling glass in the main bar gives you a fantastic view right into the Rogers Centre Stadium, home of the Toronto Blue Jays. What an amazing sight, a must do visit for any sports fan....

My family stayed in a room which faced the inside of Rogers Center. Not only is it an incredible experience but we had sooo much fun! We saw two Blue Jays games from the luxury of our hotel room. Not only is the view great but you get to experience the inner workings of the stadium, how the games are...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
