The two different rooms I stayed in were in great condition, and everything looked nice and worked really well. We always could ask for help or directions to one of the performance spaces for the Stratford Festival. Avery House is close to everything, and you can walk to the downtown. John and Amanda are wonderful hosts!

The Avery main house has been tastefully redone and offers comfort and elegance to guests. Lovely breakfast, well thought out menu and leisure social time in the morning. We stayed in the newly remodeled loft which is a private studio behind the main house. The loft is quiet and very roomy for two people. It has a private deck, two...

My friend and I stayed at Avery's Inn Next Door and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Top notch attention to details made the suite extremely welcoming and comfortable for us. We loved the little sitting room and the enclosed porch. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival and given lots of good tips for dining in the area. It is...

We kissed a few frogs before finding the Avery House some years ago. Relaxed and friendly with the most gracious hospitality. Clean as a whistle, fabulous breakfast, easy discussions around the breakfast table, and the most welcoming hosts in John and Amanda. John is a creative and skilled cook using fresh farmer's market ingredients and scrumptious recipes. He smokes his...

I was in need of a mini vacation. My brother suggested I book into a B&B in Stratford. I frequently make day trips to Stratford, but had never considered staying for a few days. A friend recommended Avery House. I found their website very helpful. The pictures and descriptions of the rooms helped me to pick the Poppy Room. As...

We spent two nights at Avery's Inn Next Door, located beside the B&B. Everything from the warm greeting to the helpful restaurant recommendations to the in-room Keurig made our stay stress free. The Inn is newly refurbished and our suite was beautifully decorated. A small sitting area and outdoor balcony provided wonderful space for relaxing.

We stayed at the Avery House for two nights this past weekend. We stayed in the Sanctuary Suite in the Carriage House. This room was lovely and had a wonderful gathering place on the deck for having some wine with friends. Beautiful furnishings!

We stayed at the Avery House and it was wonderful. The large room on the 2nd floor was very comfortable and the bathroom was quite roomy. Very nice shower. Breakfast with other guests was fun and the food was scrumptious. It's obvious John likes to cook and everything he makes is delicious. Amanda and John are great hosts!

Perfect room, plenty of space, excellent air-conditioning (it was a very hot day!), and perfect location. Centrally located, yet quiet. Proprietor was very friendly and helpful. We will make this our preferred place for overnights in Stratford.
