Overall it was an "ok" stay. It's hard to complain for the price (you get what you pay for). The bathroom had a sheer curtain hanging on for it's dear life. We walked around the side of the building and could confirm you can definitely see into the bathroom. The curtains in the main room pulled down and were not... More

I was looking for an affordable place for one night in Stratford and decided to give this property a shot. It was decidedly a mixed bag. On the plus side, it's inexpensive and close to theatres. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were reasonably spacious, and the shower had good height and water pressure. The room... More

Even though this is an old-style motel, the rooms have been stylishly updated with attractive ceramic bath and pleasant furnishings. It may be the most economical accommodation in Stratford. Festival venues are easy to drive to, there are lots of fast food and other dining choices nearby. It is pet friendly with a very minimal charge for pets. The office... More

The employees and owner are willing to go the extra mile. Location is about two miles from the theaters and the town. The rates are reasonable and the rooms are quiet. There's fridge and microwave in every room. Grocery stores and restaurants are a few hundred yards away.

don't walk, run away from here if there is only one room left in town and it is here, sleep in your car From the street it looks like a cute old fashioned motel, the flowers are deceiving. The wooden letters for "internet" were hanging on for dear life. when I was half way through my check in a woman... More

You'd never know from a glance, passing by on the street, but this motel actually has a lot more beauty and comfort than one would imagine at first sight. The interior decorating was very modern and updated. It made me feel like I was staying at a 5 star hotel. I loved the gold accents on the décor. The bathroom... More

Simple and clean place for the night. Restaurants close by and a 20 minutes walk from the Festival Theater, main theater of the Shakespeare festival. Safe and easy parking. Free coffee and muffins in the morning.

We were looking for basic accommodation (clean and economical) while we were in Stratford and we found it at the Travellers Motel. We were a little alarmed when we pulled into the parking lot because the motel's road sign had clearly seen better days but our stay was problem-free. I had pre-paid online and brought the registration confirmation so check... More

This is my second visit to this motel and what a difference. Two years ago I was here and needed just a little place to stay. The room I had was large enough but really showed it's age. At the time, I didn't care and for the $50 I spent, it was worth it for me for a one night... More
