The Historic Stone House on Pelee Island is a wonderful property in a great location. Well equipped, lots of charm with original features kept throughout. As the owners of a historic restored house, we appreciated the thoughtful attention to the historic detail. Owner Bev was so helpful with our stay; she made our experience on Pelee Island special. We spent two days and loved the B&B. Bev is a wonderful host and makes you feel right at home. The house was immaculate and both breakfast events were relaxed and filling allowing to tour the island both full and happy; her banana bread French toast was so good we will try to duplicate it when we get home ......

Wow, indeed! It was not only fun, but an honour and a privilege to host you. You deserve every medal you have received for combat, but you should also get a gold medal for your choice in wife. I wish you would run for President, instead of someone who did not deserve the purple heart. You are the reason I...

If, against all odds, there is a heaven, and if, (again, against all odds), they were to decide to let me in, I would not be in the least disappointed if it turned out to be exactly like the B and B at Pelee Places. The location is delicious, the food is exceptional, and hostess, Bev, is a delightful person...

Wow! I'm not one of those people who solicit reviews on tripadvisor. I have so many wonderful repeat guests, and get referrals from them too, that I don't rely so much on the internet. My kids say I need to be on facebook and even twitter! That I should be taking photos of my yummy breakfasts, posting recipes of my...

We stayed in the b&b and loved it! The cottage was cool and inviting. The swimming terrific, and the cycling around the island even better. But, the best of all was owner/proprietor Bev who made us a yummy breakfast and even treats for the trip home. We'll will be happy to be guests of Bev every time we visit the...

5* GUESTS! You must come back! You made me feel like the best cook ever! We are so lucky to get most of our produce from Leamington or even right here on Pelee Island, local, fresh and mostly organic. Makes anything you cook yummy! Thank you for your kind words. Bev

We stayed at the Lighthouse B&B recently for the weekend while on the island for the annual Pelee 1/2 Marathon. Bev & Paul both were friendly and super helpful. Bev made amazing goodies for us all weekend it seemed (still working them off my waistline! lol) -- banana bread to die for! Paul cooked fantastic breakfasts with fresh juices! Our...

We love the annual half marathon and all the wonderful people it brings to the island. We are almost full for next year already! I would like to see another marathon at the end of September, my favourite month on Pelee Island, with warm days and cool nights and perfect for running! Thank you for your kind words.

Wonderful old Limestone home built in 1848. Quite quaint. Be sure to check the basement out and see the old cooking fireplace located in the east basement wall. You can almost stand in it. The Black Walnut woodwork trim is worth the site and touch. This house as be nicely updated with modern conveniences. Bedrooms are nicely decorated and the...

Thank you for your lovely description of the Stone House! You failed to mention that you were moved there because we were having plumbing issues at the Lighthouse Point B&B! We are so lucky to be able to deal with such rare emergencies with other options. Not everybody at the Stone House gets the nod for the yummy breakfast at...

Thanks for being such understanding first guests as we opened for the season, with fresh paint smells and new yummy recipes at the b&b, a new casual bed and brunch at the Bee House, and some improvements return guests will notice at the Stone and Guest self-contained houses. We love people who love Pelee!

Lovely spot surrounded by water - on one side by the lake and on the other side by a marsh. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets unlike any I've ever seen. Thank you so much for your kind words. Your appreciation of our efforts to accommodate our guests makes us proud to be in the hospitality business. We don't solicit guest reviews (yet!), so an unbiased and unexpected review of Paul's culinary talents was a great boost. Hope to see you again!

With stunniing 180 degree vistas of Lake Erie, this B&B offers the epitome of the moniker, "Million Dollar View." Couple that with friendly and knowledgeable hospitality, Bev Reade offers "non pareil" accommodation at Pelee Places.
